I ran the wires up to the outer taillights and tied in there. The reverse lights I tied into the already existing wiring in the bumper cover. One thing about the design. You will have to pick if you want the lights to function with your brake lights or parking lights but not both. Turn signals and backup lights work as designed. I would prefer a not smoke finish on them. They scratch easily too. They should include red reflective tape because the lights eliminate your DOT reflector that is required in all 50 states. I bought some reflective tape and pasted it on my bumper.
