Construction Site: Farming Strong All Year Long (Goodnight, Goodnight, Construc)

My son who is obsessed with trucks and farms absolutely loved this book. It has good details and showcases many different trucks that are used on the farm. A fun read, it is a little lengthy compared to the original construction site book but still works great for a bedtime read.

To quote my 2yo when I finished this book, “Read again, again, AGAIN MOMMY!”This book is true to form- cute rhyme scheme, great illustrations, and contains overarching themes of friendship and teamwork.

The book is wonderful! Our grandson loves it! The cover jacket arrived with water stain on it. However book was fine and not damaged.

Instead of one day/project like Goodnight, Goodnight, Mighty Mighty, or Christmas Night this book is a whole year long. It's confusing because it constantly shifts between talking about a day and talking about a season. It starts with phrases like "starts the day" but then its summer, and then "the day has been filled with work and fun", and now it's Fall. At the beginning there are 6 trucks coming to the Farm (why is Skid Steer here? She's not part of the original 5 crew) and they meet two trucks - pickup and tractor. But then pages talk about Little Tractor and Big Tractor, Combine, and Loader (who only appears on one page). Not sure why they weren't introduced at the beginning. The content is good for introducing things that happen at a farm, but the book is a bit all over the place. Would my toddler care? No. Does it drive me too nuts to read it? Yes.

My son loves this series and this is one is very good

The media could not be loaded.  This is our third book to own in this series and I didn’t think it was possible to love a book more than goodnight goodnight construction site, but we do! It’s so so cute, well written, and interesting! Love how it goes through all things to be done on the farm in each season. A sweet message of teamwork and hard work. Just a lovely book that our two kids want to read every day!

It was gift for grandson and he loves the series

Some of the vehicles used are silly for what they’re doing but the children don’t mind and really enjoy the four season story line. Our toddlers favourite!

Another great edition in the Construction Site series. Just love these books and the sing-song rhyme schemes; my son, who hasn't learned to read yet, can recite his favourites word-for-word.
