SureFireG2X Pro Dual-Output LED Flashlight with click switch, Desert Tan, Small

The title says it all. I've been using these lights for the past 10 years or so. They work great, very bright (on high setting), compact and lightweight, durable.The single setting model works great as a gun light .The batteries last for months sometimes years depending on your level of use. I would typically change batteries every 6 months when I worked security.Have dropped these many times and they continued to work.The only issue these have is that the button stops working eventually and is not replaceable, this is my only gripe with this light but for the money there's not much that can beat it.

I've had a Sure fire (320 lumens) for the last 15 years. Back then they were made of aircraft grade aluminum. The tail cap but was press only for temp on. To keep it on you had to twist it tail cap further. To get back to using the temporary method you had to readjust it, though it only took a few seconds.I found the need for a second unit to be kept in the truck for as needed situations. Well they still make the old model only with a new name and the slightly modified tail cap; gone are the days of having to adjust it.Having said that, I noticed that on the surefire website they also made the same thing only with a dual beam option.... FOR THE SAME PRICE as the single beam. What fool would buy the single beam especially when you don't always need high beam everytime.I was surprised to learn that Amazon was selling it for around 30% less than surefire.I wasn't disappointed. Though I opted not to get the model made with aircraft grade aluminum, the new ones are made out of the same stuff many handgun frames are made out of. You can practically run these over with a tank (on dirt) and not worry about it. Even if it did get mucked up, the price factor assuages any concerns about loss and replacement.If yer new to Surefire, please consider their are none better. Once you choose to purchase (you won't regret it) read the operating instructions.They still have the temporary illumination option by simply pressing the tail button down slightly (halfway) to get some light. Easily release to cease operations. For constant beam click the button all the way (you'll feel the click) and it's automatically in low beam (15 lumen) which seems to me that it's a bit bright than 15 lumens, but none by much. Switch it to high, 320 lumens on a new battery and it's bright, brilliant white light. It's enough to temporarily blind the vision of a bad guy, especially at night.Around the house, hiking, camping, it's the perfect lighting companion.

Whether or not you're a Surefire fan, you can't go wrong with the G2X's price point. It has two output settings; low/medium and high, both of which have a nice and even spread. I got the Pro over the Tactical because I prefer having the option of a permanent on switch, though it can still be with a momentary illumination as long as you don't press the button in all the way. The button does have a nice tactile click and seems to be just as well-made as other Surefire's I've owned.It has a finish that looks like it'll bear the minor abuse I'll be putting through just fine and I'm sure would endure a whole lot more. It's not listed as a "weapon light" by Surefire, but it hasn't had any trouble handling the recoil of a SCAR 17, and so that's where it will stay until I have a reason to believe it shouldn't be on there.

We live on the edge of a wildlife preserve in Florida, which means all sorts of beasties are out in the very dense forest behind our house. At night when the fur members need to use the lavatory this is great for checking the back yard (even though it is fenced) before letting them out to do their business. Also makes it easier for them to see where they are going to get back into the house. Sturdy and bright and versatile. Highly recommend having one or more of these lights.

Keep this in the glove box of my truck. Needed a solid light that was small enough to grab and store anywhere and also handle the cold of Midwestern winters and the heat of Floridian summers. So far it's been great. The low setting is still plenty bright for what I use it for. Great product.

Surefire G2X Pro Dual Output LED Flashlight, Tan So this is pretty much the basement level of lights made by Surefire, and it's still built like a tank. I wouldn't intentionally do this, but I think if I ran it over with a truck, it'd still work like nothing happened (I actually did this to a Mag-Lite, and it still worked until the batteries ran out... I couldn't get the thing open ever again). The light is useful at low, and blinding at high. This is exactly what I wanted: the ability to use it as a normal flashlight while also being a useful tac-light. If one wishes to have a single mode at high output only, Surefire sells the single mode tailcaps for a reasonable price. I figure this light will eventually find a home on a foregrip rail, and I'll need one of those at that point. Until then, this is hands-down the best flashlight I've ever owned. I love Mag Instrument for a general purpose light, but Surefire rules the roost of tac-lights.

It actually works better than I thought it would. I had an old incandescent G2 that still works fine but I wanted to upgrade to a more powerful LED light. Since I really liked the nitrolon body on the original G2, why not just upgrade to a new G2X. I didn't think the dual brightness function was going to add much, but I was pleasantly surprised by how well the 15 lumen level worked for a quick glance around. If you see something, it is quite easy to switch over to the high power mode. The 320 lumen beam is smooth and focused. It really punches out into the darkness. I know there are more powerful lights available, but the G2X more than meets my needs. As always, great SureFire build quality.

This light is well made, light weight, runs a good while on the supplied batteries and has a great combination of flood and throw.It starts on low and that setting gives off a nice incandecent look. Plenty bright for 2am. On high, the 320 lumens gets it done, indoors or outdoors up to a couple hundred feet or up close. Well worth the price.

使い勝手や質感共に最高です。他にもタクティカルライト持ってますが1番良く感じます。おすすめです。

スタイリッシュなボディにスイッチの感触も他のライトに比べるとしっかりした作りのように感じます、明るさはただ明るいだけでなく中心から周りにかけて光が広がっていく感じでとても見易く感じます。他のLEDライトで明るいのは沢山あるかと思いますが、全体のバランス的に光の広がりなどから他のライトに負けない程、周りを照らしてくれるのでとても満足しております。使用目的にもよると思いますが、自分はお仕事で毎日同じ明るさで使用しているので、スイッチのモードメモリー付きなどが有ればとても良いと思います。
