I ordered these for my daughter's birthday party and opened them up the night before. The immediate chemical smell was unbearable. They smelled absolutely horrible. We opened them fully and put them on our back porch to air out overnight. 10 hours later they still absolutely stunk of chemical. We tried to put them on the tables anyway but within minutes our entire house was filled with the smell. They're absolutely unusable, especially to be around food. Do not recommend.

Pro: tablecloth is very nice looking & fits perfect on my farmhouse tableCon: tablecloth smells like gasolineI put the tablecloth on the table a few days before party (thank goodness) & while opening up the package, I could smell a strong chemical/gasoline odor. I wipe it off with cleaning wipes & sprayed it with disinfectant. After a day or so of airing out, I don't smell gasoline anymore.

First I'd like to say these table covers are very cute, but when I opened the package, there were terrible fumes of paint/dye. They smelled my whole house up in a matter of minutes. I took them outside and aired them out overnight for a day. That seemed to do the trick. Thankfully I opened them up the night before, or else I wouldn't have been able to use them.In short, they are okay to use for your Monster Party theme; just open them out of their package and air them out at least one day before you plan to use them.

Loved the table cloth, nice size and fit it just has a strong smell. I set up the party stuff the night before and the smell did fade but it was still there.
