I had scratched my Garmin Vivosmart 5. It still functions but had a rough scrape on it. I purchased these screen covers as a temporary fix while I decided whether or not to order a new Garmin. This is perfect for my needs, and easy to apply. I did follow the instructions to the letter but I do recommend having a pair of fine-tipped tweezers to apply. I can still see the scratch a bit but the screen is smooth with the protective screen on it. Whenever I get a new Garmin, I will apply these screen protectors before my first use!

I use these on iPhones and Fitbit Trackers also as well as the Garmin Vivosmart 5. They are sometimes difficult to find on-line. They are pliable and easy to apply. They are scratch proof and protective but not smash proof. The air bubbles remaining after application really do disappear in a day or two. The only issue is that the cut out for the button is a little low which can cause the bottom edge not to stick perfectly at the curved edge. It just looks a little visible. Since they come in a set I could apply a different protector but it is not effecting use or wear so far. I would not be without these!

I am quite probably over ranking this one as I had an epic failure with another version. That said, if you are okay with the tiny size of this due to the tiny screen of the Vivosmart, it really is pretty easy to install. The fit was perfect so your aim better be true when setting it down. I wasted one due to a near miss and found taking the device out of the strap so I would sit still and flat was the secret. I have swam with it and it stayed put so that is asked and answered. The direction inserted seem to apply to another version and those instructions have you dipping the thing in a bowl of some liquid that is not really explained. I guess another size may be hydrophilic and need that step but this one did not. It's not glass, more a sticker of optic clear thin vinyl so scratch protection yes, but impact perhaps not a true sacrificial crack layer. Expect to do a bit of pinch and pick trying to get them off their backer as that seemed to be the hardest part of the whole task.
