Good mug for dad but not for chemistry teachers, as they will spot if the diagram is wrong. However, it is fun to have. The original item is a bit faded compared to the picture but they are sturdy and dishwasher safe.

The integral should be on the electric field, E, through the closed surface, dS (though dA is forgiveable). NOT on the electric charge, q. I.e. it should be phi = int E.dS = 0Cup works fine and I love the pun, but it irks me that the equation is incorrect.

I'm unsure if the equation stacks up but the cup itself is good quality with the print looking good. It's been though the dishwasher a few times and still maintains the print (in the short term at least). It's a good mug for tea and my son likes it regardless of any accuracy issues.

I do like nerd humour, and so this Zero Flux Given mug should have been right up my street.It comes in an unbranded, sturdy white cardboard box. However, on arrival, the printing of the joke is nothing like the quality used by the manufacturer in the advert. The colour is more chocolate brown than black, and the font is ever so slightly blurry and not as sharp as you would want for a gift. Also, the equation isn't wholly accurate, but that is me being pedantic. The mug itself is quite a decent size, and has a good-sized handle for my big hands.If the quality of the printing was as advertised, this would make a great gift, but at £11.75 (at the time of review), this isn't great value for money.

Its a generally cheap basic mug with black printed on it. The printing quality could be a little better, it's not as sharp as images suggest. In the end, it works and you get the image advertised printed on it.Recommended.
