This is a good quality merino wool baselayer. Unlike the Icebreaker and similar ranges, it is a merino-mix with 80% merino wool and 20% polyester but feels just like my usual Icebreaker 'Everyday' range although is slightly heavier at 210gsm rather than 200gsm as per the Icebreaker Everyday..It is warm and cosy without being itchy, offers good wicking performance and it washes and dries well with no shrinkage. It feels smooth against the skin although I found there was just a very slight itch on the first few wears which is also in common with the Icebreaker Everyday and Sprayway merino ranges. However it is also half the price of these and the slight itchiness soon wears off following a few wears and a wash or two. The attached Woomark label advises washing at 40°C on a wool cycle while the stitched label gives instructions for a gentle 30°C cycle. So far I've washed it by hand but normally use a gentle 40°C for merino woollens.Sizing is generous. I ordered the size 12 which measures 47cm across the chest (just slightly larger than an Icebreaker or Sprayway medium), a very generous 53cm underarm to wrist (6cm longer than Icebreaker) and can tuck into gloves in icy weather. The back is also longer too at 70cm (10cm longer than Icebreaker) giving good coverage and insulation to the hips.I'm very pleased with my purchase which offers excellent value for money and was quickly followed by a duplicate purchase.

This is really effective, I bought it as I am expecting to be home more than usual this winter and need to save heating bills. Its very warm, feels nice - it isn't scratchy or irritating at all.Sizing is larger than usual on me, I bought this one in black, size 10, based on other reviews - though I am usually a 10-12 or 12. I have kept this and will use it but its larger than I need.I then bought another size 8, which is the right size for me, and ordered it in purple not black - nice colour.Also - it would be so much better if the neckline was lower or more scooped, so that it didn't show so much under other clothes. This does mean that there are some things that I don't wear it under, when I would like to.Other than that though, a really good produce for the price - well worth the ££.

Ich hatte das Shirt für den Herbst zum Wandern besorgt. Dafür aber bei Sonnenschein dann doch viel zu warm. Habe sehr schnell geschwitzt. Aber jetzt für den Winter optimal für Spaziergänge, Tagesausflüge draußen oder den Weihnachtsmarkt. Hält super warm und man muss nicht so dicke Sachen übereinander tragen.

this is brilliant at keeping you warm - it is a base layer - washes well this is the second one i have had i known how good it was i wouldn't have bought other "thermals" these beat them hands down bit expensive but well worth the money.

I have only worn this once, but can confirm it is a good fit and comfortable. I have another merino wool top which is thicker than this one, but despite this one being much thinner, it is equally as warm. I would happily buy a second, but my second colour choice was not available.
