Snappy little scanner
I purchased the renewed unit and was impressed with its condition. There were no defects and it worked marvelously. The scanning rate is rather quick, even at high DPI levels, with the ability to scan entire receipts that are ridiculously long. I have not tried out the software or the WiFi feature, so YMMV with those. For my purposes, scanning in receipts and dumping them into FOSS software for organization, I had no trouble with this unit. Be aware that, much like other scanners, you may need to drop it out of "auto" document color mode and choose "grayscale" to pick up faded receipts.

USB port never works
When you can get it to connect, its fine. But the USB port is constantly flaky, sometimes connected sometimes not. I've returned one, and even the replacement has a bad USB connection. Avoid.

Software can not be activated.

None Working Product
This product was refurbished but it never worked for me from day one. I am very disappointed especially because it was sold on Amazon a trusted site.
