got these for my recliner because they match the décor pretty well and I hate the look of the paper ones out in "public" areas. While they look nice, the waterproof backing causes heat and sweat. I solved this by cutting off the backing and putting this pad on top of a paper one which doesn't show. Works fine.

I have not used it yet so the stars really don't mean anything; but the instructions say to put the white side UP. Now why would I order plaid or any other color unless I wanted it to be less noticable that it was for incontinence?! This is a better size than what I've been using but looks very similar in terms of layers. I'm going to use the plaid side UP. I'll see how it works then.

I really bought these pads to use on my car seats when it gets hot outside. They're larger than standard cushions. The plaid color is fun, and darker in color, so no need to worry about spills showing. The only negative thing: they will slide right out the door when I get out of the car. No big deal really, as they do give heat protection.

Fits chair nicely. To early to see how it holds up. She really likes it does not look like traditional pad and blends with her wing chair

Yes, maybe this item should be exclusively made for a pet. It is too small to cover the seats on my parents lazy boy chairs.

This seat pad is better than the picture and is great for any seat. I used it for my recliner and it was the perfect size I needed.the under side is plastic.

It shrinks a lot at first washing. It is small, stiff, not very absorbent. I consider this a complete waste of money.

I purchased this for the chair of my mom who is 92 years old. It is attractive and stays in place. I have not washed it yet, but its a quality product.
