The suit fits great but the only downside it that there is NO liner in the bottom piece so my daughter needs to wear a bikini bottom when she wears it. Also if you have a child with sensory issues you might want to know the string on the bottom piece is inside not outside.

I got this after searching high and low for a modest swimsuit for my 9 year old daughter. In the past, she has worn board shorts and a rash guard top. It fit really well and she seemed comfortable wearing it (no tugging at the shorts, etc). She wore it to the lake a few times and to swimming lessons for 4 weeks, 40 minutes a day in a chlorinated pool. She would rinse off in the shower afterward and then we would hang her suit to dry. After the first two weeks of lessons, the colors started to fade quite a bit. By the last day of swim lessons, the suit was covered in 'stretch marks' and the shirt was sagging as long as the shorts. She hadn't been pulling on the shirt, and in fact, sometimes she tucked it into her shorts. I'm not sure if this was just the result of cheap fabric in a chlorinated pool? I'll likely buy something similar again because the quality brands are so expensive and kids grow so fast!

My 3yo wears 3t top and 2t bottom. The top is more like a 4-5 it's saggy. The bottom is more like a true 2t and fit snug on my toddlers little bottom. She will grow into the top I will have to find a replacement bottom for next year.

Perfect for my 7 year old daughter. I hate the bathing suites for little girls now a days, they are too revealing. This is perfect!

I bought this for my 53-pound three year-old. Sizing was a bit of a challenge since she's very tall, but I figured the 5-6 year old suit would fit her. It barely fits. It is a very nice suit, the color stays very nicely after repeated dips in the chlorine, but keep in mind the sizing when you order. One thing I didn't like, the shorts roll up as she get in and out of the water and the white liner (which is not a full liner, just partial and attached at the top and bottom seams only) pops out every.single.time. It's a bit of a pain.

Was totally bummed. This was soo cute online and in person,however it is totally NOT SUITABLE FOR A CHILD OR BATHING SUIT. It is completely see through. My daughter tried on and I could see clearly outline her chest and her also her tush. The only lines area, thankfully was her lower front. As soon as this suit will get wet forget it it will hide nothing or only be a colored skin covering. I bought this item so my daughter could wear to a pool party but unfortunately it is not acceptable concealing coverage. Soo disappointed. For the same price, buy one at Carters or known rash guard brand. 👎👎

My child is 3 yrs old and I bought a 4-5. She’s not a big kid but I’ve noticed some things I do have to buy in the next bigger size... it depends on what it is. Since it’s online, it’s hard to try on before purchase. I’m glad I went ahead and bought the bigger size. Draw string on pants if needed to make the shorts “smaller.” She loves this swim suit! When it arrived, she wanted to wear it! She wore it like an outfit to the store!Update... summer of 2020. I bought this again for her. She’s now 5 and I bought a 5-6x. I bought a size 2-3 for my 2 year old. Both times that I have bought this, it comes new and is bright in color. The more times it’s worn, the more it fades and the material seems stretched. It’s really noticeable between the 2 girls sets. The 5 year old goes swimming more often than the 2 year old. The 5 year old’s set is not as bright (like really faded) and the shirt, you can just tell it’s been stretched out. The first time we bought this set a few years ago, the set did the same thing.But I still bought it anyway. The bathing suit protected my girls from getting burned when we went to the beach.

This is adorable and was what I expected. Good value for the price. I purchased the 2-3 T for my daughter who just turned 2. She is very average size, with a bit of potbelly typical of a 2 year old. The shirt was just too short. It was also just tight enough around that it kept wanting to ride upbon her belly. So I ordered the next size to compare. The next shirt was longer than I would have expected for just one size, but was an acceptable fit. The shorts however, were actually skimpier than the smaller size. Pretty much the same length, and narrower. The 2-3 T had a few gathers at the waistband, while the next size up had no extra fullness. I would have preferred the fit of the 2-3 T, but had to return it and use the larger one, since the shirt just wasn't big enough. Including photos showing smaller size shirt on top, and larger size shorts on top, also side by side of shorts showing more fullness in waist of 2-3T size. Last pic is the size 2-3T on my 2 yr old.
