Will not fit a 3 inch pvc pipe but a little heat with a heat gun and you’ll get the snuggest fit ever .Your welcome

Unfortunately, a large issue created a smaller one to which this product was needed. I moved into my current home (in the country with a septic system, not a sewer) only to have repeated drain issues. I called in professionals to pump out my septic tank, only to find other issues that needed to be fixed to the tune of $5k. At that time, they advised highly that I remove my sump pump water from the septic system to help with further issues. As I was researching how to do just that, I found this product recommended highly based on the climate where I live. So we got to work digging the trench for new tile to redirect the sump water out of the septic system. After it was all installed, I kept a close eye on the pipe during the Arctic weather we had this winter. While some water froze around the inlet pipe (into the ground) this fitting did exactly what it was meant to do. Not once did it freeze solid even on the coldest day. And trust me, my sump runs a lot. I am so grateful that I researched the proper way to do this project and that this product did exactly what it was intended to do.

Junk. Seller does not understand measurements. No where's close to being a 1.5 inch inlet with 3 inch discharge, but its stamped and labeled as such.

This Freeze Relief is for my Sump Pump discharge which is buried. This is more durable outside and holds up in cold weather and dues not get as brittle as my previous Freeze Relief. So I am looking forward to replacing the old Freeze Relief.

Had a frozen sump pump outlet pipe and the associated basement mess plus redoing the broken line. This fixes the issue from the outside tying into your 1 1/2 in pipe as it comes out of the house and into a 4 in line. You probably need this if you live in a freeze/thaw climate.

Sturdy and does the job.

Works as intended, even through a cold northern Ontario winter.
