If you use the Surface Pen for writing or drawing, this MoKo screen protector is an absolute game-changer. Pain-free application, a few bubbles but doesn't really affect much. Been using it for a few months, it helps reduce glare and the texture is nice for writing.

I really love the paper texture feel, much nicer feel touchscreen now and reduces glare a smidge. BUT it is exceptionally hard to install without bubbles from tiny dust specks that get under there without a medical grade clean room! No the fault of this product, but I wish there was a mounting template like i had with my Tesla screen protector which lined it up perfectly and made it easier to install clean. I suggest a can of compressed air on hand. Took four tries (had to buy two packs!!) to get it bubble free and its ever so slightly not straight, which will slowly drive my OCD nuts. But I'm not gonna try it again. Each sheet will get ruined if you try and take it off if u notice a bubble. Again, not the fault of the product but I would've paid more for one that comes with a better mounting process.

I have been a heavy user of pen enabled tablets since 2004 - on Windows, Android, and iPad. I have also used many different screen protectors to enhance the pen experience all along the way. So I've learned how to quickly install and use protectors from many makers. This MoKo PET Matte Screen Protector is definitely among the worst I've tried. I have 3 main complaints about this one: 1. Poor installation related quality: This one is designed to install like most matte protectors: there is a protective layer on each side of the actual screen-protector film: a) one on the "adhesive" (screen) side, and b) one on the user facing side (to allow bubble removal without damaging the protector). There are tabs that allow the removal of each of these layers. But in my case the tabs removed without separating the related film - they just pulled off. Also, the user facing layer was stuck too strongly to the actual screen protector, so that the process of peeling it off (after bubble removal) simply pulled the actual screen protector away from the screen introducing a huge new population of bubbles. I've never had a protector perform so poorly in these two installation related ways. 2. Poor touch performance: once installed. the protector significantly degrades the touch performance on the Surface Pro 9. Significantly. 3. Poor pen performance: last (and perhaps the worst) the advertised "paper like" pen "feel" improvement was almost imperceptible. You can readily feel the distinct roughness of the matte surface, but, surprisingly, it doesn’t deliver the “paper like” feel with the MS Slim Pen on the SP9. Like zilch real improvement. Conclusion: The advertised improved pen feel doesn't really work, the protector degrades the use of touch interaction, and the quality related to installation is very low. Avoid this one.

The surface of this item is very similar to PaperLike for iPad. It is a matte finish, this gives great resistance for Pen use, and great for drawing. I actually prefer the screen WITH the screen protector, but coming from an iPad with PaperLike, I'm used to it. Note for Surface 9 users - Pen wobble is worse with this on. Not unusable, but it's definitely more prominent in my short testing. The downfall of this product is they minimal installing instructions and minimal assistance. You get two stickers to help make a hinge, and firm card for rubbing out bubbles, and lastly a sticker for picking up dust prior to laying down the protector. Pretty much the instructions are, "stick it to your screen" - I mean it's really that minimal. NO guides for help you get a perfect install so you have to line this up before removing the backing, use the stickers to make a hinge, make sure you have no dust, and then magically pull off the back and place this down without getting more dust. Yeah, good luck. Installation isn't easy, and even with great care, you are likely to get bubbles. I've installed Dozens of screen protectors for phones and a few for iPads. Never an issue. This one resulted in bubbles, no matter how careful I was, I still got bubbles. This item should come in a two pack. Mine arrived with a small bend in the center ( crease ). After install it's OK, but I'm not sure I would buy another without seeing what else is available. For the money this should be a wet application product ( Wet application screen protectors tend to not be as dust sensitive as dry installs ) --

I read the reviews after I had received the protector and before I put it on. Lots of complaints about not sticking properly, lifted corners, bubbles, and other problems. I think there are three things of extreme importance: 1) Prefitting on the screen before taking off the backing film so you know how it is going to fit, 2) Cleaning the screen. Before I cleaned the screen, I turned off fans and anything else that might be blowing dust particles around. I cleaned the screen with my cleaner and cloth and then cleaned with the enclosed wipe and cloth. 3) Take your time and work the bubbles out as you go. I peeled off just enough film on the right edge for the protector to stick to the screen and then worked across the screen peeling the backing film and using the enclosed tool to remove the bubbles. It worked out great! I had a flawless installation and was very pleased. I then tested the surface for the pencil and paper feel. It was a little rough in my opinion it worked fine. I have tried Supernote and Remarkable notebooks and while they have excellent paper/pencil feel, the screen protector was not as good but, certainly better than the smooth screen surface. If Microsoft would provide a screen surface like the Supernote or Remarkable, they could be crushing the market. Overall, VERY pleased with the screen protector. I would recommend to anyone wanting to use a Surface Pen or Pen 2 to invest in this very reasonable price product. I have purchased the same protector to fit my Surface Go which I use more as a notebook.

This screen protector is phenomenal. This screen protector does actually make the display feel like paper both to your fingers and when writing with a Surface Slim Pen. Installation was easy and straight forward, but the instructions were pretty lackluster. Not a big deal if you've ever applied a screen protector before, but might be a turn off for those with less steady hands. (Pro Tip: Before you apply the screen protector, go into a bathroom and run a very hot shower to steam up the room. This will pull the dust out of the air and prevent dust particles from getting stuck under the screen protector when you apply it.) The screen protector also does a great job of reducing the reflections from the Surface's display, but doesn't completely eliminate them. It does reduce image clarity slightly, but not by much and you can still clearly see individual pixels and read text clearly. Overall, I highly recommend this screen protector

If you live in a 100%, lab-type setting, then this would get 4 starts. You also MUST have the patience of a 120 year old Buddist monk. Also, if you do NOT have a case (Kensingtion, Supcase, corner protection, etc.) then this would still get a 4-star because you have ONE SHOT at getting it straight. Otherwise, don't waste your money. First one, after 20 minutes, I botched. Second one, I re-cleaned the screen of my Surface pro (twice), took my time and really concentrated on lining it up. It wasn't "perfect", but looked good enough. No lint. No air bubbles (took about 20 minutes of effort to move the bubbles out). then I tried to put the case back on. Completely lifted the corners and BOTCHED the install. It's effing useless. UPDATE: 21Jan2026- The company reached out to me, unsolicited, and offered a full refund. I find that refreshing and I did make recommendations that they should include and installation frame and be clear to describe their product as being incompatible with any type of frame for the tablet or convertible. Had the install been easier and had it worked with my case, it would have gotten five stars because I'd love to feel of the matte finish/real paper. Only because of the excellent customer service I gave it back in additional star. My recommendation? If you have a iPad or surface Pro, don't use a case and get one of the magnetic paper feel covers, or ensure that the product you're buying will accept a case. These things are cut to exact tolerances and will not stay put with a case. Good luck

Muy facil de poner. El tacto rugoso es muy agradable, pero bastante ruidoso con los dedos (como acariciar un papel de lija). Lo compre principalmente por el anti-glare/anti-reflejo, y la verdad es que hace muy poco al respecto. Sigue reflejando bastante, solo que algo mas borroso.

Comprata per protezione dello schermo del Surface, ha completamente migliorato la scrittura su schermo. E' leggermente ruvida al tatto, ma non da fastidio. Antiriflesso, non lascia impronte. Facile da installare, seguendo le istruzioni. Nella confezione ci sono due salvaschermo, con relative salviette per pulire. Vedremo la durabilità nel tempo, ma, per ora, è perfetta.

Mit Abstand die beste Displayfolie die ich bis jetzt hatte. Schnell geliefert, relativ wenig Abfall. Die Folie lässt sich super einfach aufbringen, gleich beim ersten mal hat sich die Folie ohne Probleme selbst auf das Display gezogen ,mit dem Spatel konnte ich wenigen Luftblasen locker raus streichen. Die Haptik ist super. Die Oberfläche fühlt sich leicht rau an, mattiert und es gibt keine Probleme mit der Empfindlichkeit der Oberfläche. Ma kann wie gewohnt mit dem Finger oder PEN ohne Verzögerung arbeiten. Fingerabdruck sind auch nicht zu sehen. Absolut eine Kaufempfehlung ohne Einschränkung
