first let me say YES...this towel is expensive. It is worth it. I have super thick hair and blow drying is a chore and a half. Wrapping my wet hair in this towel cuts my drying my hair time in half if not more. The towel is comfy and plush and doesn't fall apart. I have bought six of them

Absolutely love these towels. Tried them at a Renaissance Hotel and vowed to purchase some when I arrived home.

Great towels just wish the made a larger size again.

I recently received these towels, which I ordered to remind me of my favorite hotel. However, they aren't quite as nice as the hotel version, and I've got enough nights at the Renaissance to be an expert on that. The picture makes it look like they have the same diagonal pique pattern as the Renaissance hotel towels. These towels have a slight diagonal pattern, but you have to squint to see it. The "elegant trim border" mentioned in the description is only found on one side of the towel. I'm pretty sure the actual hotel version has the trim border on both sides, as I'd expect from a towel at this price point. In summary, I thought I was ordering the thick Renaissance hotel towels that most Renaissance hotels have, but I received a thinner consumer version towel with a Renaissance Hotel tag on it. I'm pretty sure the Fairfield Hotel actual towels are thicker than what I received. To return it would mean that I have to spend almost a third of the cost on shipping. So I will be using it. You've been warned.
