Grenade Ice Cube Mold Large 3D Chocolate Cake Mold Silicone Ice Maker for Whiskey Cocktail, Ideal for Baking

This was a last minute Xmas stocking-stuffer but it turned out to be a big hit for my 15yr old, he loves to put ice in his drinks but we have a small freezer so I rarely keep ice trays. Whenever we fill this up we put it in a tiny tupperware cup before placing in the freezer because a little water may leak out the bottom and cause it to stick. Makes a wicked cool ice cube and seems to be the perfect size to keep any size drink cold!

This mold worked pretty good! I poured my chocolate in and twisted it around and tapped it to make sure it was all coated. Then drained out any excess so it would be hollow and not too heavy for the cake.

It holds the water if you’re making ice with it. It holds the resin if you’re making a mold out of it too.

I bought this to make chocolate grenades for a Fortnite cake I was making. I only used it in half not whole. I did the top in brown chocolate and the body in green chocolate. When I took it out of the mold the brown top popped off but I was able to "glue" it back on with some melted chocolate and you couldn't tell. They unmolded easily but I went slow so I wouldn't break the chocolate. They looked like little grenades. I think it would work really well with ice but I haven't tried that yet.
