A Beautiful Collection

Mr. Bond's works are categorized as 'Children's Literature' and because they are categorized so, I had never considered reading them or even considered them worth my time. Oh how I was proven wrong! After having read this book, I will now say that these stories are as good for adults as they are for children. They are written in a simple language and yet they hold such power that can just move the reader. A must read for everyone.

I got it for my 12 year old cousin for her birthday and ever since I saw her carrying it wherever she went. She loved it.The short stories are extremely thoughtful. Some are funny, while some spooky, thriller, drama and etc.Ruskin Bond is worth a read always. This book can be read by adults too.Buy it. You would love it.

The book is a good collection. Ruskin Bond is truly a great writer. But page quality is not up to mark. Unexpected from penguin publication. I have doubts that this book is a replica of the original version. But I need to thank amazon customers care as they rescheduled my delivery at my request.

Collection of stories are nice but page quality is the worst, paper are recycled.Paper smells very bad. This is the reason of given three stars
