good value however not exactly youth oriented.
Release works as any budget release should. However was not a Youth size. I would compare this to the allen brand from walmart as far as quality and size. Still works as it should just a little too large for a smaller youth.

Ended bad
The first day using this quick release was great. Didn’t have any problems and it felt great in the hand. The second day using the quick release, it decided to do its own thing. Every time I went to pull back on my bow, it would release on its own. This caused a safety hazard considering the arrow slapped against my finger and I lost 2 arrows. If the product wouldn’t have released on its own, I would possibly would rate this a 5. But considering it is dangerous, and unpredictable, it’s going to be a 1.

Solidly built, I’m not a huge fan of the trigger as it releases at the slightest touch.
