Slim Profile and Smooth Function
So far, so good. The keyboard is slim, and the magnet is strong that the ipad attaches to. Its easy to open and close. Very solid on a flat table surface. I did happen to have it open and set it on a bed and it tipped very easily. But I usually use it when I'm at a desk. It has a little bit of weight because of the magnets, but I don't think its very heavy to carry. The hinge folds open and closed easily, but is stiff enough to hold it at all angles once its open and in its range of tilt. The keyboard backlight is nice. And I still haven't mastered all the many functions of it. The mouse pad is nice because it shows a cursor dot which is helpful when sharing the screen for others to see what you are doing. The keys are smooth and type great. I like the slim and low profile of the keys. The only thing I found I don't really like, but isn't any deal breaker is the couple extra seconds it takes it to wake up when you are ready to type on it if you haven't for a while. But that is one of its features to auto shut off to help save battery. Easy connect via blue tooth. Would be cool if it did use the iPad battery to charge like the more expensive brand name version, but for this price point I absolutely love it at like 1/3 the cost. And the keyboard doesn't flop around if you want to take a picture with it still attached.Wish there was a little more room and distance between the top row of keys and the bottom of the iPad when its open. But I guess sacrifice for space with the touch pad. I got the carbon fiber pattern. Looks great, feels great. The magnet that flips over to hold it closed is strong too. And you can still clip a stylus on the flap when its open or closed. Will have to update if anything changes in the future, but its been almost a month of daily use during the week and its been good. I've been charging it when I charge the iPad too, but haven't had any trouble with it running out of battery. No side/edge drop protection, but that is the nature of the slim keyboard and cover that is the same size as the iPad. I use an Air 5 model.

Very nice! Glad I didn’t spend money on a Magic Keyboard from apple
Very affordable and works great! I’ve only had to charge it once so far and that may be because I don’t use my iPad as often as others. The colors that flash throughout the keyboard is nice and it’s easy to connect to my iPad. I had no issues setting it up so far.

Great keyboard case, but missing one important feature
I purchased this case to replace the Apple-brand Magic Keyboard which I'd been using with my iPad for over 4 years. I had no issues with the Magic Keyboard, which is lightweight and does a great job. But, as mentioned, it's lightweight, and eventually it just started falling apart. The Typecase keyboard case is much sturdier, and therefore heavier, which is a bit of a mixed blessing, like added weight while traveling. It does the job well, but there are some serious limitations. There's no battery indicator, so the first notice you have that the battery needs charging is when an annoying red light starts flashing at you. Even if there's an hour or two of battery left, the blinking light is so distracting that I can't keep working.Second, if you want to use your iPad in the vertical position, you're SOL. The Apple case simply flips open 180 degrees, so it's very quick and easy to switch from horizontal to vertical. But the maximum opening angle for this case is about 40 degrees, so to use it vertically you have to remove it from the case completely, leaving it unprotected. I'm not sure why this particular design decision was made. Also, the available tilt angle during use is pretty limited.Other than those drawbacks it's a good case. The keyboard is comfortable, I like being able to choose the backlight color and intensity, and it has pretty much the exact same functionality as the keyboard on my Mac.

Why Spend 2-3x More?
I had never been able to pull the trigger on spending $200-$300 on the Apple Magic Keyboard for my iPad Air (5th Gen), so I began researching cheaper alternatives. I knew I wanted similar features, but without the price. Then I finally found this case:- The price is reasonable, yet the quality feels every bit as good as the Apple brand- There is a decent variety of colors to choose from (I wanted White, but chose Pacific Blue because a few reviews were unhappy with the non-true White)- I found the Pacific Blue to be true to the color represented online, which is attractive- My iPad connects to the magnet securely and is stable enough to use in my lap in bed or on a desktop- The Bluetooth connection is easy to pair and is immediately useable- This case features a canted tilt, just like the Magic Keyboard, so you aren’t stuck with an angle you don’t enjoy- The keyboard is backlit and adjustable (multiple colors and brightness settings)- The magnetized strap features a slit for an Apple Pencil as wellI don’t normally leave reviews, but I was truly impressed with the quality of this keyboard case. It met and surpassed my expectations.

Works as well as the magic keyboard
Item works well. The extra function keys for volume and audio controls was a plus. Great battery life.

Bad magnets
Given the price, they should really address this issue. The magnets are either poorly placed or not strong enough. It attaches at an awkward angle (without proper camera or full alignment) and detaches when trying to close it. Everything else is fine but it’s not worth it if the iPad isn’t secured. Excelente acabado

Not similar to Apple's
Keep in mind that this keyboard IS NOT even close to Apple's, I put 4 stars here because I knew that beforehand so I wasn't too upset while using it.Key differences:- The iPad can't tilt in an angle greater than 90 degrees, which means when you're using it sit in a chair for example it'll not be ergonomic to use, you'll always try to tilt it more and get frustrated it won't go.- The touchpad is OK. Not sure how to explain it, but if you ever used Apple's trackpad or even the magic keyboard's trackpad you'll notice a huge difference, it's easier to use the iPad's touchscreen directly rather than using this keyboard's touchpad.I'd consider it a budget investment when you don't use the keyboard much, I use it only for very specific tasks since I already have a macbook & mac studio, I only bring the iPad to quick meetings or when I want to get some work done during brekky.

Love it!
I love love love love this keyboard. I think it’s way better than the Apple keyboard for its price and it works exactly the same. Def recommend for those looking for a dupe for their iPad.
