Installed this stereo in my 2000 Honda insight because the design of the dash, with a small ledge above the stereo, limits the type of CarPlay head unit I can install.After looking around at all the different options, this one fits perfectly, and has been working great for over a year.The display is decent quality for the price, and also quite reasonably responsive to touch inputs. I also feel the sound quality did improve at least a little bit, compared to the Pioneer single-din that it replaced.I like the ability to pop the screen out easily, and haven’t really run into any issues with Bluetooth or wired CarPlay since installing. Installation was as easy as any other single-din unit.

Perfect Upgrade for a Classic Bronco!This BOSS stereo is exactly what my son's 1995 Ford Bronco needed to bring it into the modern era. Installation was incredibly straightforward - the wires were clearly marked and labeled, making it easy to match them to the speaker and power wires in the vehicle. The unit fit perfectly into the space where the old radio was removed with no modifications needed.The 7-inch touchscreen is responsive and bright, making the wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto features truly useful. Bluetooth connectivity is solid, and the AM/FM radio reception is excellent even in rural areas. The touchscreen interface is intuitive enough that my son figured it out without needing the manual.For anyone looking to upgrade an older vehicle with modern tech without complicated installation, this is the perfect solution. The price-to-performance ratio is outstanding, and it's completely transformed the driving experience in a 25+ year old truck. Highly recommended!

Other than a few small issues, this stereo works great for the money. A few glitches once in a while, like working with Amazon music. I added a back up camera and that's so nice to have in my Ford F-350 super duty. Didn't have to cut up the dash, just got the single din adapter for my truck and install was very easy. Didn't have wireless android so I purchased a wireless adapter and it works pretty good, automatically connects although it's a bit slow every once in a while. Didn't want to have to plug my phone in Everytime I got into the truck. I love the adjustable and REMOVABLE! screen. With very little effort, Boss could make this into one extremely awesome stereo. It sounds awesome even with my factory speakers. Would recommend and I don't regret my purchase at all

Works great, installed in a pt cruiser. Great sound quality, simple to install and use. Pairing function works great. Only downside is no usb ports on it, but thats my fault for not checking.

Absolute worse thing I’ve ever bought checked all the fuses checked power supply with multimeter bench tested the audio player with a battery after trying to install so to late worse part is dodges have a fragile face panel and it cracked while installing and the thing was bad when I got it absolutely 100% don’t waste your money I’ve installed to many audio players to count and I’ve but only 3 of these and 2 were bad from the start just absolutely would not work now I’ve got to replace a whole faceplate in my truck wish I’d have never found this audio player biggest regret so far this year I can’t even begin to explain how upset and disappointed I am that these companies just sell us trash and don’t care they just steal our money and cost us even more I will never in my life's buy another boss product again they make nothing but the worse garbage.

Works flawlessly, really nice design to get around the lack of space for a touch screen in older vehicles. The tilt and up/down positioning really helps you get the most out of the screen. It has options to hook up fwd and rear facing cameras with auto reverse. And mp3/mp4 playback with the parking brake signal applied. Carplay/Android auto is both wired and wireless and works perfectly once booted although it does seem to take a minute to open after initial start up. Audio is also quieter through either application but I've noticed that is the case with every stereo equipped with those applications. The screen is well visible and sensitive to touch but the operating system does seem to lag intermittently. Overall I'm very pleased with the fit and function for price as I didnt have to modify any of the existing dash features as others have done before to fit touchscreens in these particular jeeps. If I needed to recreate this same fitment I wouldn't bother with any other stereo but this one. (I tried and returned 2 others before pulling the trigger for this)
