Sent my adult son birthday money in these. He and his wife enjoyed figuring out the puzzles. He took the puzzles to work and they had a timed contest during their lunch break. He was amazed at how quickly one of the men solved them. I do have to mention that a gift card would not fit in these.

I’m trying to figure out how to open the red and wood colored square box. It isn’t working according to the picture instructions on here. Please help! I also tried to find a way to ask the seller a question directly but couldn’t. 🤷‍♀️ These will be great gifts but I need to be able to open the red one too.

Ever wanted to give someone cash for a present? Ever felt guilty just putting it in an envelope and feel like the fun was sucked out of it? Enter these puzzle boxes. I bought them this year for kids 7-18 to hide cash in and give to them for Christmas. We did it like a white elephant prior to opening where no one knew how much was in each. We hid coins and bills in various amunts to make it fun. The boxes are really simple to open once you figure out how. The compartments arent huge but big enough for some folded up bills and some change. My kids will enjoy using these to hide their "treasures".Overall, was a fun way to hand out cash for the holidays!

These I thought would be perfect to put money in for gifts. Even with the directions 3 adults could not get two of them opened. IDK. The others I will use and I think they are great. Maybe someone should test them before sending out

I wanted to write a post to help anyone that might be getting stuck on the red box. I struggled with it too. And then I came back here to look at the pictures more closely and I realized there was a ball locking mechanism. That’s why the red side needs to be down. You figured maybe my ball had gotten stuck so I knocked it on the top a couple times, and then knocked it on the table a couple of times. That did the trick! Now that I have it open I can see it had a magnet on both sides of the ball catch. So you actually might have to wack it a couple times to get the magnet to drop the ball. Once the ball drops the two sides slide apart with ease. I hope this helps!I love these boxes. I think they’re great. I plan on sticking money in them and giving them as gifts.

I used these for an escape-room-esque type present for my Mom because she loves puzzles. She had a blast and they're just hard enough to be a little challenging, but not pull your hair out and give up. Most are very well made and a couple were just a bit stuck, but with a little extra muscle I got them open to put the clues in. Pretty good for the price.
