Soliman's Auricular Therapy Textbook: New Localizations and Evidence Based Therapeutic Approaches

This is a must have for anyone interested in auricular therapy. The pictures are amazing in color. If your book does not have the color pictures it is a copy not from the author or author's publisher. I was duped and I couldn't understand why the book had black and white pictures when Dr. Soliman's charts are amazing. After taking a class with Dr. Soliman I saw the real book and the pictures are GREAT just like the flip charts also a must have. So buyer beware the REAL book by Dr. Soliman is GREAT and so are his classes and charts. It is a must have for all who are interested in auricular therapy. He is a GREAT teacher.

An excellent textbook with outstanding color illustrations. One of the best written books about the subject since the discovery of auricular therapy by Paul Nogier. It explains in details how to understand and use this three phase system. The language is simple and clear. The illustrations are breathtaking. Most beneficial are the chapters dealing with the daily medical problems encountered daily in medical practice. The book provides a clear and easy approach for such problems. References are plenty and adequate. Overall, I strongly recommend this book for anybody practicing acupuncture, it is a must have text.

I already have a copy of this very good text on auricular acupuncture. The second one I ordered did not come with inside illustrations in color. They are black/white and not suitable for study purposes. I have returned for credit or one properly printed.DLS

This is an excellent text, and profusely illustrated throughout. I do not fault the used book vendor I purchased it from over Amazon, their service was excellent- I had to return it. Worse than useless- frustrating- the complex,monochromatic illustrations are absolutely useless as the grey-tone keys are nearly identical for two out of the three Nogier phases discussed. I have to believe it was supposed to be published in color, it's the only thing that makes sense, since if anyone intended the illustrations to be legible printed in monochrome greys they would have certainly made a legible key. It may be that the copy I received was a prerelease or illegal copy rather than the real book that sells for $150 at the author's website. I thought I would give this a try- no good- will have to check at Dr. Soliman's site, and if I am assured illustrations throughout (not just on cover) are in full color will buy it for full price. It is an excellent work in all other respect. I'm a California and Wisconsin licensed acupuncturist with a good background in the simpler Chinese auricular medicine wishing to go deeper into three-phase French system.
