Ps4/Ps4 Slim/Ps4 Pro Hub,4 Port USB 3.0 Hub High Speed USB Cable Adapter for PS4,PS5,Xbox ONE,Notebook PC, Laptop, USB Flash Drives… (Black)

I have several devices at work that run on a USB cable - webcam, headset, a lamp, etc. Unfortunately using all the ports on my computer tower isn't workable, so I got a hub. The 2' cable is just enough to reach to a convenient spot, and there are enough ports for all my devices and then some. For basic use, this is totally fine, and I have no loss or glitching with the camera or headset audio while using it.

I can not use this product at moment because i have nothing to use it with at moment. I tried to use this product with a western digital hard drive with ps4 pro...but ps4 pro software operating system refused to allow use of WD gaming usb 3.0 hard drive with ps4 pro! Chances are this product not damaged nor broken & ps4 pro refuses to use it unfotunately! Maybe someday i can use this product with another more accepting computer maybe?

Because the PS5 robs us of a USB port (compared to the PS4), something like this is a MUST -- especially if you're also using PSVR 1 (which requires 2 USB ports for the headset and PS4 camera) or any peripherals. Connected to the back of my PS5, I have both PSVR 1 cables and also my G29 force-feedback steering wheel plugged in (with one port to spare) while keeping the USB 3 port on the front of the PS5 available for either charging the DualSense controller or connecting the HOTAS flight stick (I assume that the flight stick could also be plugged into the hub, but I have not tested it). The other USB port on the back of the PS5 is where I have my external HD connected (which CANNOT be plugged into the hub). Without a hub like this you are forced to plug and unplug peripherals all the time, so I'm absolutely delighted that this actually works as advertised. Buy this thing.

This hub is well built for the price and works as expected ... However, if you are using this on a PS4 Pro while using a wireless headset that utilizes the USB/Optical cable for its connection (Such as the Turtle Beach Stealth line), you will be unhappy with this item. I tested the below theory while using only the USB transmitter for the headset and with the optical cable plugged into the transmitter, both had the same issue. I'm not sure if it's a signal issue or a power issue but while using this hub is creates a strange robotic pulsing sound in the headset and interferes with the headset mic. I didn't notice it right away but during online game play one of my online friends mentioned the way my mic sounded and that lead me to troubleshoot. No matter what troubleshooting I did I could not figure out the issue and was leaning towards a headset defect and was about to begin a warranty request with the manufacture. Finally it dawned on me to try unplugging this USB hub and when I did the problem went away. There aren't any settings on the PS4 that can fix this so honestly I'd avoid purchasing this in this scenario. It could very well be a defect in the HUB but at this price point I don't feel like sending it back to find out! :) I can't use it for what I purchased it for while using my wireless headset but I can still use it on my PC so I'm not entirely unsatisfied.

This review is for the 4 Port USB as well as the WD 4TB Portable Hard Drive... The main reason for purchasing these items, was the recent update for the PlayStation 4 Console. The new addition to be able to have external hard drive support was a wonderful addition, so I purchased these for this reason. Shipping was on time, and the products arrived in excellent condition. Set up was quite easy also...I attached a picture for you to see my setup. I wanted the 4 Port HUB so as to be able to plug in my Sony Wireless headset dongle. Knowing in advance, that you MUST directly plug the external HD into the Ps4, and the fact that I also have the Ps4 stand which needs to be powered...I was going to be out a USB port...this remedies that problem. If you are looking for a solution to this as I was, or just want extra USB space, as well as extra hard drive storage, then I would highly recommend these products and sellers.

so it work sorta, hooked it up to my ps4 i kinda works but connection isn’t super good but for smaller things it works i guess, put my 2tb storage on it did not want to work on it at all it’s okay i guess, not a strong connection

Once I connect this USB Ports Hub with 7 ports to my Mac, it went smoothly without any problem. My Mac instantly recognized devices connected to this hub. The hub has blue strip light on to indicate it is powered on and there is no power cord needed for it anymore like my previous hub that had a power cable as well as USB cable to connect to the computer. So I am very happy with it.

Works exactly as described so far... but usually the main issue with these is their short lifespans. Bright PS4 Blue indication led if your going that route... but I know I get more life out of these if I do NOt leave them plugged in 24/7. If I’ve used my PS4 at all I make sure to unplug this device when I’m done. If you are buying this for the PS4 and have external storage like me, I recommend plugging the external storage directly into the PS4 and then use the other port for this splitter for items like wireless headphone remotes or charging controllers etc...

Works great on ps4. Materials feel cheap, and it DOES NOT SUPPORT EXTERNAL HDD just works with common usb drives, headset dongle, or usb chargers.
