I'm quite happy with this purchase, many reviews spoke of the chemical smell even though it says all natural and no chemicals used. So I was worried, so much so that I opened outside as I have parrots who have very sensitive respiratory system and I have severe asthma. There is a very light smell but it is not a chemical smell at all. Im satisfied enough im using it in my house for my birds. The rope was all the same diameter throughout and no stray strands, very solid. It also measured to the correct length as well. If I decide to use more manilla I feel confident ordering from this company.

Rope was well make but when additional rope was needed for project, the second order was smaller in diameter than the first order. This rope still measures 1 X25 but is not the same diameter as the first rope ordered. My suggestion is make sure of your length before ordering, so you do not have to try to match the diameters.

Not stretchy at all. We used it to replaced the fringed out tore up rope on our cat condo. It did have a lot of fringe on the new rope. I tried to cut the excess off to make it appear neater but still had some. Had a strange smell, so I placed it outside in the sun for several days.....still smelled. It does look nice on the cat condo (trimmed the fly always) and sprayed it with fabrees.

I purchased this cordage to be used as decorations and embellishments to rustic furniture and was strictly purchased as such. The rope sizes were exactly as expected. Multiple sizes were purchased. Beautiful style. Does not stretch, the cordage has a slight softer than straw feeling. Not extremely rough. Due to the style the durability will not be that of a nylon cord, hence the 3 star durability. Yet for my project the item durability would be a 5 as project media durability.

Usually I go to Home Depot for rope, but I was tired of the smell and lack of durability. I get that manila rope comes from the Philippines, but I didn't know that there were different grades of manila. This FMS manila rope is far superior to anything I've ever bought at Home Depot or Lowes. I've tried other ropes online too and they don't compare. I'm using this rope outdoors and have since purchased quite a bit of it. My grandchildren love swinging on it in the tree in the backyard, I've used some as a nautical decoration on the fence posts and we've even gotten some of the larger rope and played tug of war with it. Definitely a great rope and I love that this is a true Veteran Owned business with high quality products.
