They smell like syrup!
Love these! Very inexpensive and they have a wonderful syrup smell

Very thin.
I have to double bag because these tear easily. Our garbage collection is combining compost with our leaves and it can really smell. I thought that bagging our compost would prevent this but because these bags fall apart easily, it defeats the purpose. We received free bags from our garbage service and they're the same.

I was correct!
I was right when I got these bags in saying they’re very compostable and thick enuff so they won’t leak. To some that say they’re not compostable if you stretch them out they’re the same as what others say are compostable. They may take a bit more time to break down but they will. If you want leaky bags that leave a trail of food and yuk trails on your floor get the thinner bags by all means. So far these are the best bags I have found!
