Purchased this book to get a head start on my forensic psychology module. It is a fascinating read that offers a comprehensive insight into how crime and mental health disorders interact and how they are viewed by society. It also covers the unique issues that professionals offering therapeutic services in forensic settings face. The authors are UK based which is evident throughout the book but the topics covered are universal. A good choice for psychology students and professionals working within the correctional system.

As an OU psychology student I bought this as i had heard good things and new it accompanied a module on my pathway. As i hadnt chosen that module I decided to but it as a bit of extra reading and I literally couldn't put it down. if only my own module was this interesting...ha ha
