They are extremely helpful in the shower, no slipping or sliding. The only problem is that you can't keep them in the tub for baths; they float. We had already had one, and it finally started shedding in the shower, so we ordered two more, one for our shower and a new one for our guest bath. I recommend these to anyone; they're great for safety!

I have had the mat for a few months now and the shower is used at least once a day,half the time two showers a day. I put it over the drain so I can stand in the middle of my shower without fear of slipping or falling as I am a senior citizen. The Mat drains well and dries well also. It actually feels good on my bare feet and sometimes I even use it to scrub the bottom of my feet going back-and-forth. When I am finished with my shower, I move it over like the picture above. I am very happy with this purchase and I will purchase another when this one wears out .

No slip in bathtub while on it. Feels good to your feet. Love it!

Have an old 50's house. Wife has this special soap scum remover mix of 50% cheap vodka and 50% cheap dish soap. Works great but makes the tub very slippery-clean. On top of that, we had the tub resurfaced. Last thing the technician said when finishing the resurfacing was 'oh, don't use a bath mat or it could damaged the surface. Great!I rated the suction a 5 because this mat does not harm the surface but does not slip a bit!I never leave the mat on the tub but always hang it on a towel rack after using it. It's been great!And being washable keeps it in 'new' condition all the time.I highly recommend this product to stop slipping in the tub, but if you had your tub resurfaced, this is a must have!
