If i mix 3mls with a small amount of water will it still be effective or do you need a whole bottle of water?

I would NOT add 3 ml to a small amount of water! I have used Lye Show for years and years. I mostly just add 3-4 drops to every 12 ounce bottle of water I drink on the job, and outdoors in the heat. During long OR short days I add it to every bottle. If I'm going long I might limit it to 3 drops per bottle. Never once have I added 3 ml to a quart and I certainly would NOT put 3 ml into a single serving bottle of water. Lyte Show, in my considerable experience, works super effectively in tiny amounts over a period of time. The company recommends certain amounts for a REASON, I would NOT advise you to over-step or ignore the instructions. I WOUULD advise you to seek help from an EMT or Medical Professional if you're suffering heat stroke or extreme cramps or other symptoms of extreme dehydration.
