These Freedom Harnesses are the best! I have purchased three over the last 10 years, and the first one I bought looks just as good as the most recent (size M, L, and XL). The Freedom Harnesses are easy to use and fit to your dog's body. They have good, solid construction with metal attachments for the leash and a martingale loop. The bottom part around your dog's chest is a velvety soft material that does not rub. I feel confident when walking that my dog will not be able to pull free or get out of it, and it leaves me feeling safe. It is easy to handle. Overall A+!

I have to give this harness a 5-star review because this is the only harness our dog will walk with. She normally freezes and acts like the weight of the harness is keeping her from walking. Haha! She had this same brand of harness as a pup and eventually outgrew it. This dog will not put her head through a tight opening. She doesn't mind this harness because the part that goes over her head is large and doesn't touch her face. My dog is a mixed breed and has a barrel chest and a small neck; sizing for other harnesses would require her neck to be a size small and her chest to be a size medium. Pros: Works for dogs with small necks and large chests (choose size by chest size) The dog's legs are not constricted while walking The part of the harness that slips over the head is not tight. It's a large opening, so it doesn't push against the dog's face. A double leash can be used to prevent pulling. You can choose between 1" straps or 5/8" straps. Well-made, adjustable, and beautifully stitched Martingale loop at the back of the harness so it tightens slightly when you need to redirect the dog. "Chew Warranty" in case your dog accidentally gets hold of the harness and chews it... Cons: The clips for the 5/8" harness might be hard for people with big hands to unclip.

I have a wonderful pit, who is gentle in every way EXCEPT she PULLS soooo hard on walks! I'm in my 60s and have a bit of arthritis but I love walking my dog. However, the first 20min or more is a completely unenjoyable pulling contest. She chokes terribly with a regular flat collar. I have tried prong collars, plastic 'tooth' collars, head collars that scrunched into her eyes, harnesses with top rings that just gave her more pulling power and front rings that simple pulled the harness to one side, nearly tripping her. Nothing fazed her, nor helped me much. I watched & tried training videos and even a 6-week class. I give quick sharp pulls, put her in a sit-stay every 2 minutes, and its a constant fight. I was about to give up when I searched 'no-pull harnesses' on Amazon - and saw this one. The video by the two men who weren't from the company convinced me to order it - even so, I was convinced I just put 40 bucks down the drain. Well the harness, AND leash, came today - and boy was I surprised!! The quality of the product is amazing it is incredibly well-made - and designed!! Strong. Durable and beautiful materials and construction. Soft cushioned velvet straps that won't chafe under her legs. It was easy to custom fit to the dog, and once everything was adjusted to her it was super-easy to slip it on & buckle it up. BEST of all is the design of the leash that works with BOTH the front AND top leash-rings. I thought the harness would just pull to the side like others I tried - nope. The leash makes it work as a unit. And BETTER than ALL of that is that - it WORKS. My dog was comfortable. No choking - she can keep her trachea! And pulling is EASILY and QUICKLY corrected. Sure - training yourself to handle your dog is optimal, but this tool is a game-changer that improves walking immediately and makes walking a dog a nice experience again! I am grateful to the designers of this product.

Pretty purple color-hasn’t faded, easy to put on my dog and remove. The only thing I find a bit difficult is pushing the latches together. The quality of the items seem good

This is a replacement as my dog out grew his first one. The inside is very soft which prevents a rash from rubbing. You can use the top and chest d ring together or separately, they sell a lease to use both doors rings at the same time. We have two dogs and our oldest dog is still using the first one bout over 5 years ago. Great quality! Reasonable price for the quality of the harness. We use it also when in a car as the back rung works well with a head rest srap for safety.

Love this harness! Previously had it in royal blue and after years, the buckle broke. Decided to go with black/gray/silver this time. Really like it! These are quality harnesses. Very comfortable for my dog to wear and easily adjustable. Highly recommend!

This harness works better than a regular collar but it's still allows him to pull so the advertising isn't exactly what it says. It's easy to clip on him to take a walk though.

This is my 3rd harness for my pup - we were gifted the XS and S when she was first adopted. When she grew out of both I tried new ones but nothing compared this one. The velvet straps and thinner size of the harness is great for a dog who loves to roll around in the mud/go swimming. Others would get wet, smell and take a while to dry out. It's also extremely durable. A previous harness we tried made of rubber she chewed through in 3 hours. Would buy again and will continue to as she grows!

This is a great design for pullers. I have a large standard poodle and wanted to see if this would help manage his pulling and it worked super well! Now I will invest in the thicker width and larger size so that it is adequately designed to manage his weight and strength. This less expensive model was a great trial way to determine if it would help because we have numerous brands of harnesses we have tried and they failed the test. The FREEDOM is a keeper!!

I've tried many harnesses and every one was too bulky, too hot and my dog spent more time trying to get it off, I knew they were not for him. Until I found this one. It's not bulky, it's easy to get in and it's soft to the touch plus it is velvety material that goes under the front arm pits. I looked for one like this for a long time, specifically with a D-ring in the front chest area so I was able to control my very, very strong Siberian Husky/Border Collie mix (his markings are beautiful and such a kind soul). I can! Our walks are much more enjoyable, especially for my shoulders. 🙂 He really only "pulls" when he HAS to visit with another dog or person. lol He LOVES them. Very Good harness with a loop on the front and back for better control of your dog

This was the only harness I'd seen of this style where there were no reviews mentioning chafing or rubbing under the dog's arms so I took the plunge. I'm very glad I did, after fitting carefully to my large dog, the harness has performed admirably. If he starts getting too silly on the lead, I attach to the front clip, when he calms down, the lead goes back on the shoulder clip. It seems comfortable and doesn't bother him at all, even when wearing over his winter coat. I have not seen any signs of rubbing or soreness on his arms at all. Well designed harness, thanks a lot.
