Well made transport or storage boxes for large cakes,

I actually bought this item after buying a Bundt tin so as to keep the Bundt cakes fresh and easy to access, rather than the ex-Chiostro di Saronno Panettone (delicious!) tins that I currently use as airtight tins to keep baking from drying out.Sturdy; handy for carrying; looks durable - yes - but definitely NOT airtight…Due to the construction of the handle (rubber? / silicone?) and how it fits int the body of the plastic of the box there are small gaps, as I found out when I was washing it after it arrived. The soapy water ran through the gaps on the top of the lid, by the handle. So if it isn’t watertight, then it certainly can’t be airtight, annoying as some of the illustrations actually state that it is airtight.This ‘Easy Carry Food Storage box’ does seem as if it will make a good container for transporting homemade cakes without the fear of them being squashed, but not very good for storing them as, contrary to what is both implied and stated, it is not airtight.On another point, to quote: “Unlike many cake carriers, we include a cake lifter”… Well, I don’t know about anyone else, but a cake lifter was certainly not included with mine… Slightly disappointing, but not as much as finding that the box is not airtight. I’ll now need to look for a suitable plastic bag to put our Bundt cake in before putting it in the specially bought box…

I bought this for an elderly friends birthday. She’s 83 , she loves baking and makes a lot of cakes for special occasions.Mary was chuffed to bits with her present , she can now deliver cakes all in one piece . Thank you .

Two great boxed for cake storage or feeding, of the Christmas cake that is. Great for lots of mince pies too. Yes, Christmas is on my mind 😉

Estoy super contento con producto pero el vendador no! Excelente calidad y perfecto tamaño. Sin embargo, el envio fue un problema. El repartador dice no puede entrega en mi casa 3 veces, cuando trabajar en mi casa y casi nunca salgo. Repartador miente y floja y quiere dejarlo en un punto de recogida. En fin tuvo que recogerlo en un punto de recgido que fue inconviene. El vendador nunca contesta mis mensajes. Tengo probloemas de mobilidad y tuvo que ir a recoger mi paquete. Aunque el producto era buena, jamas pide de este vendador.
