Hahnemühle Harmony Watercolour Block Hot Press A4

This is a student-grade watercolour paper, and I know the advice is usually to go for 100% cotton even if you're a beginner, but I found this cellulose-based paper to be easy to work with. It's heavily sized so the paper withstands blending. Being on a glued block can be convenient as I don't need to tape and stretch the paper, but sometimes it's a nuisance as it means working on only one piece at a time (unless I take a sheet off, but that defeats the purpose of the glued block). If you're starting out, this is a good one to choose. My favourite is now Arches though.

Papier benutze ich für Gouche oder Aquarellstifte. Mit Aquarellfarben komme ich nicht zu recht, aber das ist bei mir allgemein so, liegt nicht am Papier.

I’ve tried using a number of watercolour papers on which to create my cyanotypes and this one definitely produces the best results. It dries out perfectly after a lengthy rinsing process and yields bright whites and rich, deep blues.

Ich war auf der Suche nach einem Aquarellpapier, welches eine feine und glatte Oberfläche hat und dieses Papier erfüllt absolut meine Bedürfnisse. Es macht richtig Spaß, sowohl darauf zu zeichnen, als auch zu malen, da Details gut ausarbeitbar sind.
