I was a little skeptical about trying the product as I’ve always used J&J with my babies. I love the smell of the baby lotion and hoped that this would be a comparable item at less cost.This certainly exceeded my expectations! It smells amazing and feels even better! Works well on my babies. I love that while it is cheeper, it still does not have any parabens, phthalates, or dyes. I have already shared this with my other mama friends and family!Saving so much with the switch to this one. With the cost of everything going up, every little bit counts. Will definitely have this purchase on repeat or buy the large quantity option.Definitely recommend!

This lotion smells delicious, just like J&J! And makes my baby's skin so soft. I will continue buying this.

Everyone knows what we’re trying to capture with this one and I think all would agree, the original is a classic- the true OG!! However, using this for more than just infant use… is when I actually appreciate it a lot, the iconic fragrance is a little less subtle- Sure! who doesn’t love a baby to smell just delicious.. But, for all the other purposes ie, the men in my house love using a “baby lotion” post a close shave… ha! and don’t want to smell like a baby! I love this after shaving legs or being over exposed to salt water or chlorine.. I find this is a perfect mix of baby worthy softness.. but, a bit less intense in scent- better yet, never too harsh on tougher skin scenarios!As for the moisture- we always appreciate a baby approved option and bc we have sensitive skin issues in our house.. It’s comforting and reassuring to know that if an item is made worthy for a newborns delicate skin- that tells us it pretty much can meet adult sensitivity needs without being a very over priced option or dermatologist prescribed type cream.Lotion delivers a light layer of moisture to the skin- it may need to be reapplied more then once during the day if really dry affected areas.. The good news is the fact, this absorbs quickly bc it’s a thinner mix then the original- and I love it doesn’t leave the user feeling greasy or pasted over to block up and clog pores.. even if used on the face! Using regularly we’ve had no issues with acne or irritation.. and find when applied it’s an almost instant type absorption that looks and feels immediately of soft skin results.Love this lotion has a much further reach then some may give it credit for.. I find it’s very universal for those basic and fundamental needs- yes! Expect a fresh “baby powder” scent but, one far more subtle that dissipates rather quickly.. and what you are left with is purely pleasant.If looking for a universal lotion that can cover the basics for all users young or old.. this is a solid. Ideal if on a tight budget as this lets you save far more then buying the original and still delivers a nice quality result. Great lotion, especially for the price. I think the scent is actually lighter than the competitor product. Highly recommended and will purchase again.

Just as good as the J&J pink lotion, without the, what to me, is the J&J strong smell. Applies well, no skin reaction. Love the price.

I use a lot of lotions and was skeptical that this product was as good as leading baby lotion. Was surprise how it us comparable to leading brands and smells good. Love the price most of all.

I guess I was hoping this would have a little more baby soft sent to it. It does not. So if that's what you're looking for look elsewhere, it's a little thin and runny, but it did come with several in a pack. I mix it with my jergen's lotion. Because I like the scent, but like I said, it does not have Add soft gentle scent to it

Update a year later: I choose this over Johnson’s and will keep repurchasing. It’s more powdery and infantile than the original JOHNSON'S® Baby Lotion and doesn’t have that sharp gill green note in it that’s similar to shrubs or grass or something.Original review: If you want to save money, it really wouldn't hurt to get this. The scent compared to the original JOHNSON'S® Baby Lotion is lighter, there is no apparent strong floral smell like jasmine (think about what a real bouquet smells like and how strong, deep, and "green" flowers can smell). It's light but not faint. There definitely is an enjoyable and innocent-like mostly powdery fragrance with very light floral notes in the very background. The two lotions definitely have different smells but they do belong in the same sphere. I can see someone who doesn't want to smell as strongly of flowers liking this. The scent is more refreshing and not heavy at all. It was also surprisingly moisturizing. Amazon basics products can be hit or miss as I believe the ingredients used are not good quality but it smells really good and I would buy both this and the Jonhsons original.
