I loved all the characters in this book. The damaged journalist, the sleep deprived mum, the step sisters who cared for each other following the mother’s withdrawal. For me they were all flesh and blood and I found myself drawn to them as if we were all an odd eclectic family. This book will have you laughing, crying and catching your breath. You’ll especially love the two babies!!!!

Good development of characters and storyline keeps you engaged from start to the end.Overall an enjoyable read. And well worth the effort.

Reading at night helps me sleep

Starts a bit slow, becomes very frustrating and unrealistic story line but ends well. Hope other thrillers by Claire are more believable.

I was hooked on this book from the beginning. A real page turner. Great characters and plot. Would heartily recommend.

Very well written. The suspense is such that you almost want to carry on reading all through day and night.
