Lightweight yet sturdy ... and cheaper than name brand models.
I do a lot of solo camping and I love to read by the fire while drinking my nightly tea. My old camp chair with cup holders built into the armrest just wasn't cutting it, so I was looking for a chair that was relatively lightweight, comfortable, and gave me a place to set my tea while turning pages.I saw a chair similar to this one at fancy outdoors store for $79.99. So I set about looking for a comparable item, but for less. With free shipping via Amazon Prime, the $49.99 price tag for the Faulkner chair was just right. The chair is relatively lightweight -- in fact, it weighs less than my collapsible camp chair. It folds flat, so I just lay it in my trunk, across the top of the rest of my gear. It's sturdy and comfortable -- if you like to sit truly upright. There's no real room to slouch given the chair design. It was a little stiff when I first received it, but once I used it a couple of times, it loosened up so there was no more groaning when I sat in it.The table is surprisingly sturdy. It will hold a book or iPad/Kindle; cup of tea and a 32 oz water bottle with no problem. The side pocket organizer is a nice bonus. It's great for holding small items you want to keep nearby like a flashlight or cell phone. One of the pockets will also hold up to a 32oz. bottle of water with no problem. All in all, I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Probably one of the best folding picnic chairs that I have owned
I love the outdoors and take any opportunity to just set and watch birds, deer and other critters. I have found that if you sit for a while the birds get used to seeing you and start to come around again. Plus, you get to relax and take in nature rather than trudging through it all of the time (although that is sometimes fun as well).I have owned several different folding chairs in the past but this is the best that I have seen at this price point. I like the aluminum frame versus some of the plastic frames that are common in lower priced chairs. The fold out table is a big plus; it allows me to set a field guide, a pair of binoculars or a beverage down while I am relaxing. The chair is lightweight and easy to carry and store. I do wish that it was a little cheaper but I think that it was worth it's price.

Worth the higher price
This chair is much higher quality than the $20 versions. The seat is wide and comfortable.Overall, the materials and design give the impression it will be durable. The utility pockets can be easily removed if desired. The side table frame securely locks into place and should support several pounds easily. The cup holder has an extended cutout to accommodate a mug handle, a thoughtful touch. The table surface is not metal, but seems sturdy. Some have mentioned difficulty folding and unfolding these chairs. There's an "over-center" action such that extra effort is required to start the fold/unfold process, but it's not excessive and seems to prevent the chair from opening up on its own when being carried. The seat fabric stretches taught when opened which makes it supportive and comfortable. This chair is slightly heavier than the cheap versions, but is still surprisingly light considering how strong it seems to be.

All is good... except the table
So far only had them for a few short months before the cold set in. They are very light (I like this feature) and the canvas stitching seems well made. The only thing I noticed after having these chairs outside in the elements, which normally wouldn't a problem (except wind, being light chairs) is the 'table' is not made of aluminium. Exposure to the rain has shown after even slight exposure minor rusting on the bottom of the table. If you don't leave these outside (like I do folded on my deck), this may not be an issue. It's important to dry the table top/bottom of excess moisture after using and before storage.

Love it!
Awesome chair! I love it! It is exactly what I have been looking for. This chair is wonderful for watching my son's baseball games. It has everything I need, and it is comfortable. Most importantly, it is very light and easy to carry. My only complaint is that I wish the little handles (straps) were so that you could carry the chair horizontally instead of vertically. Because it is a somewhat tall chair, you have to lift your arms up a little bit while carrying it vertically. Horizontal would be better.

Coming Apart at the Seam
We love this chair but one of the two we purchased is coming apart at the seams on the seat. My husband weighs 220 lbs and the chair is rated to hold 250 lbs. Disappointed that he only used this chair half a dozen times and it appears to be separating.

I was very pleased with the price and product quality of this particular ...
I saw a similiar chair at a car show and was impressed with the comfort of the seat itself and the table and side storage so I went on line to look. I was very pleased with the price and product quality of this particular chair. Easy to unfold for use. Light weight to carry. Sturdy wide seat.I especially like that the table is much lower than the arm rest so you are not knocking off your drink.

We already have two Faulkner chairs which I love. Needed a couple additional chairs so went with a sure thing. We have not had a chance to use these current chairs but thought a small folding table may possibly be a plus . . . time will tell!!
