It is so hard to find this Japanese style peanuts! They are my favorite kind of peanuts and very flavorful! Mine came broken though, and the coating turned into a powder on the bag, but if you can get them whole, they are amazing!

not much flavor here mostly from the peanut the outer shell is pretty much tasteless but the crunch was satisfying

I'd never tried asian peanut rice crackers before. I love soy sauce and always have peanuts in some form around the house so I was intrigued. The Snack Hawaii-Traditional Shoyu Peanut Rice Crackers - Mochi Crunch Asian Snack arrived perfectly fresh tasting. I'm leaning even in the direction after eating them that they are a pretty addicting snack to be honest. I love the light shell around the peanuts that has a sweet and salty flavor as you bite into them and then the flavor of the peanuts is added into what you taste. Like I said extremely fresh tasting I thought the quality was excellent.I kept thinking how nicely they would pair with a cold beer but you of course can just eat them plain. I'm thinking of sprinkling or mixing some in with a rocky road or chocolate or vanilla ice cream even. I could doctor the ice cream up a notch more by adding caramel sauce or a rich chocolate sauce.I'm usually generally pleasantly suprised taking chances with new or exotic food items and this is one of the those times. I'd totally buy these again and actually plan on searching for them at my Asian grocery store because I'd really like to just have them on hand.

I served these as an appetizer before serving sukiyaki for my family. My grandson ate some and spit it out. My son only tried a couple of them. I wasn’t all that impressed with the flavor either.

A nostalgic blast to the past, the flavor of the sweet salty umami coating on the peanuts is just the way I remembered. This snack is a deal at any price.
