I bought one of these in July 2022, aware that we would be facing high energy costs by Winter and got it at a really fair price (£39.99). Obviously, we didn't get to put it through its paces until later in the year. We were really impressed with the heat. We didn't use the central heating all Winter, and got on perfectly fine with this on the sofa and our existing electric blanket on the bed.The throw is really soft and luxurious. A good weight to keep draughts out.Most of the Winter, we were using at at level 4, which (assuming that's 33% of its maximum power), was costing just over 1p per hour, and only during the really freezing spells did we increase that to level 8. We never needed to go up to full power (level 12).The timer was great, giving us peace of mind if we were to forget to switch it off.The biggest (pleasant) surprise was just how tough it's been. We used it every day for about 6 months and have a border collie that likes to jump on the sofa, so I did have serious concerns that the wiring wouldn't be resilient enough to survive for very long, but it's still going strong and I have no reason to suppose it won't see us through next Winter and beyond. It washed well.I agree with other reviewers that it's a pity the fixed label is on the upper side, and the plug placement could be better (one corner would've been better, so that could've been positioned close to the floor, but it's not been a deal-breaker for us. I was worried that the cable being set further off the floor, and it putting a little strain on the connection might weaken it, but the plug that fits into the blanket is very sturdy and the connection solid, so it doesn't seem to have suffered for it.My only criticism is that, when I decided this would be a great present for my parents for Christmas, the only ones I could find from September of the same size & make were over£70, and over the following week or two, continued to rise, sometimes more than once per day, until they were priced well over £90. This opportunistic pricing strategy does not seem to be uncommon on Amazon, and it demonstrates that products are priced not on their manufacturing costs/value, but purely on demand, so as the weather deteriorates (and energy prices rise), prices on such seasonal items can more than double.So I'd say it's a really effective, comfortable and hardwearing heated throw, but my advice is to buy it when the weather's good, so you can get it at a fairer price!

Nice and soft and comfortable and easy to use with a single button.Put this on for a few minutes and it keeps the heat for ages.Great to keep warm through a Scottish winter and may even be handy on the cooler summer days.Highly Recommended.

I was hoping based on reviews for higher standard. The blanket itself is a really cheap fleece material but biggest issue is that even on its highest setting after a couple of hours it’s not generating much heat, and it only generates heat in random patches across the blanket.

Bought this item on 27 November 2022 and people on Amazon keep asking me why the red light flashes. I don't know the answer to it but my blanket just stopped working and also has a red light of the highest heating flashing. I don't see any product details that can explain this. Never washed the blanket from purchase. How can I get a hold of the seller?

It's a nice blanket and it does get quite toasty but it heats up very uneven. Some parts get nice and warm then other parts feel like they don't get heated at all. And the spots that get heated/not heated change over time. I have never had a heated blanket before so don't know if that is a feature or a defect.

Kuschelige Decke mit hohem Wärmespeicherpotential selbst wenn sie nicht im Betrieb ist. Meine Freundin hat sie zwischen November und März fast jede Nacht benutzt, dank der Zeitschaltuhr sehr gut. Einziges Detail wo ich ein bisschen stutzig werde ist, dass das Netzteil der Decke bei Nichtbetrieb sehr warm wird. Würde daher empfehlen sie nach Benutzung grundsätzlich auszustöpseln.

La coperta si riscalda abbastanza velocemente e mantiene il calore per almeno 6 ore con spina attaccata poi si stacca da sola perchè ha il salvavita. Ottimo acquisto. Questo inverno se non avessi avuto questa coperta mi sarei morta di freddo. Ne ho comprate due: una x me e una per mio marito. Questa blu mi è arrivata con la spina europea...ma abbiamo staccato il 3 perno e la usiamo con una prolunga normale, non attaccata al muro. Funziona anche con doppiaspina e poi la.doppiaspina la metti al muro.

Que dire, sinon que c'est un produit de qualité, joli et agréable au toucher et qui fait parfaitement son job dans la durée. La sécurité semble assurée...

Zu teuer,da hilft auch der Stoff nichts in dem die Heizspirale drin ist.Berichtigung: Heizdecke wird richtig heiß wenn man den Dreh raus hat.Regler auf gewünschte Stufe einstellen und das blaue Licht ausgehen lassen.Nicht nochmal drauf drücken, schaltet den Heizvorgang ab.Herausbekommen weil ich Licht habe ausgehen lassen,aber Digitalanzeige trotzdem noch an,Heizdecke wurde heiß.Die Elektronik in der Mitte ist blöd angebracht sie stört beim schlafen in der Nacht durch den globalen Steckeranschluss bei der Heizdecke und der zu kurzen Leitung zur Fernbedienung.Die Leitung von Fernbedienung bis zum Anschluss Steckdose ist ausreichend.Bei der Leitung von Heizdecke bis zur Fernbedienung muss der Hersteller noch Abhilfe schaffen mit verlängern und kleineren Anschluss,das ist das was mir nicht gefallen hat und bessere Technische Aufklärung.Viel Geld für diese Heizdecke,keine gute Technische Aufklärung.Heizdecke bedingt als Kaufempfehlung.
