Incense has been used for thousands of years across many religions and cultures. Resin is incense in it's most pure form. Mainly used for ritual and purifying purpose, it is still used to this day. It is also popular for the wonderful scents it releases. Since resin is the most pure form of incense, only little is needed for strong effect.

Experiment With Quality Resins At A Bargain Price
I use resins for meditation and spiritual practice. I think most of us know frankincense and myrrh from the story of the three wise men. All of the resins in this selection can be used for incense or to make essential oils. They all have medicinal qualities that you can look up, mostly for cleansing and healing. I believe that they have this effect spiritually as well. This is a great selection to experiment with. I am a big fan of copal. It is similar in effect to frankincense and is great for spiritual work. I bought this selection because I enjoy making blends. I have a dedicated coffee grinder for working with resins. Myrrh has a strong smoky odor and I prefer to use it in blends. The resin will maintain potency longer in chunks but the powder keeps fairly well if sealed. I don't usually grind much more than I'll be using.Using frankincense or copal as a base and adding a little myrrh or sweet myrrh creates an intense scent that will make your home feel refreshed and clean.I also use it in my candles. Melting wax and resin powders together makes a really nice aroma. You don't have to use too much. Resins are very concentrated. If you like incense but haven't tried resins yet you really should. This and a box of charcoal discs will be enough to begin your new adventure. They all have a nice and distinct aroma. You'll probably develop a favorite, It's a great way to try different resins. My experience with this seller has been exceptional and for the amount you're paying it's a real bargain. I recommend this product.

Low quality
No problem with prompt, accurate delivery and charges. The price was low and in this case, I got what I paid for. The Myrrh smelled like molasses and had lots of bits of wood, gravel, hairs....yukkyness... The others were maybe just old or low grade...some also with mystery yuk in them. Made me wonder what the good stuff smells like though! This batch wasn't good enough.

Great “try before you buy” sampler!!
FACT: Most of these incenses here are exactly the same quality as “high grade” larger volume purchases (which I have already made). My take on each bag:Frankincense, Copal = exactly same as high quality/Dragons Blood, sweet myrrh, Benzoin = 90 to 95% as they should be. /**The myrrh was the only one that smelled quite off and I am not sure if that is just it’s normal smell , or was stale . I’ve heard it does smell bitter normally, which is why most prefer “sweet myrrh “

Poor Quality
I have tried four of the six resins. The Frankincense did not smell as good as what I already had, but burned well. The sweet myrrh burned well and smelled good. The copal became liquidy and soaked into the charcoal. It then produced much more smoke than normal for this type of incense. The Dragon's Blood became a thick, bubbling liquid, smothering the charcoal until all fire was extinguished. I bought three sets of this as they were gifts. I had given the gifts prior to trying out the resins.

Great Sample Pack
I bought this so that I could sample the different fragrances before I buy some resin incense in bulk and it's perfect for that. Yes, as some reviewers wrote, when you stick your nose in each bag they do all kind of smell the same, but some stronger than others. However when you burn them they do have different fragrances. Also, some resin incense becomes a crumbly charcoal and some incense, like Copal, turn into a liquid when burned. This is normal in my experience and doesn't reflect on the quality of this particular assortment. Btw, you'll need charcoal discs to burn these in case you aren't aware and resin incense creates a lot of smoke so I prefer to have a few windows open in the house.

Calming
I am new to resin incense and seemingly, out of the blue, I was compelled to experience frankincense. When I spotted the sampler pack, I figured this was the way to go. I have not yet tried all of the resins, but the frankincense is wonderful! I found it immediately relaxing and peaceful. It also helped my scratchy sinuses and decreased nasal passages. I have used this over two days and I have found the scent to be very soothing and calming. Calming is the perfect word to describe it. I am profoundly elated with this purchase. THANK YOU

Its maybe 4-6 uses of each incense type to give you an idea of what each type is like without having to buy copius amounts
This truly is a sample set. Its maybe 4-6 uses of each incense type to give you an idea of what each type is like without having to buy copius amounts. Very good product for someone just starting out using dhoopa/resin

Is my nose broken I barely smell any of it.
Overall it was a sample pack and at least got to try a variety of different resins. The only ones I like were the white copal, frankencense and benzoin of Sumatra. Even though I liked those because of their smell the odor was very faint. I would think it would be way stronger. The dragon's blood, myrrh, and sweet myrrh had almost no scent to them as far as I can tell other than a burning smell..
