Let the squirrels tell it best
The very next day after I put these out, including one on my porch where I feed the squirrels and birds, and where someone's cat was trying to call his own, one of the squirrels brought an acorn up on my porch to eat. That was all I needed to know!

Doesn't work
Didn't pay attention and just from photo of product thought these balls were like the size of tennis balls. Was surprised to discover they are the size of a gumball. Each ball was individually wrapped. I have a lot of stray cats that find my yard and garage comfy. In one particular spot where I've seen a cat rest for long periods I placed 2. Not long after I saw the cat comfortably resting between the 2 balls and as before it continues to rest there.

Cat repellant
I am using these garlic balls in a place where my cat has sprayed many times. It is keeping the cat away. He does not like the smell of garlic. Clean your area first really well with enzyme cleaner and place a few of these balls there. It has worked for me.

Want to attract cats? Look further than this product.
Like many of the folks on here seeking to deter feral cats from their property, I gave this product a try for about a week. For me, it failed miserably. On multiple occasions, I spotted my neighborhood feral cats walking pass the repellent ball without being fazed by its scent. My shouting at the cats seemed to be a more effective deterrent, but I can't say the same about this product. The last straw was drawn I witnessed a cat defecating right next to the repellent ball. It clearly doesn't work.

Attracts racoons
I bought these to keep my dog from killing. That same night she's out fighting a racoon that tried to steal it...to the vet I go.

No more unwanted guests!
The ease of utilization. Just drop them where you have a pattern of entrance to the area and it’s a done deal. In my case, it was dogs and I can say so far they don’t like the smell and haven’t come back in my yard. I can’t say how long they work, but very satisfied so far.
