This yarn is gorgeous and soft on my hands!I’m on my 5th Afghan (tulip) with this yarn and while it does come with a few tied knots, uneven areas, it is a wonderful blend of 30% Australian Wool and 70% Acrylic Yarn but single ply.I have used alpaca in the past on projects and it’s more expensive and has similar problems.I will purchase again!!My projects call for 5 packs of 4. The blend of Australian wool and acrylic makes the yarn practical, warm, and very soft.

I am making a blanket from crochet hexagons. Really shows off the colors. I decided I needed more yarn and ordered another pack. The second pack (of course, a different dye lot) seems different in texture AND color. It's not as plush, and the colors are not as pretty.

I crocheted a beautiful sweater just in time for the snow storm! this yarn is quite thick and super cozy. keep in mind the yarn can get a bit heavy when worked into a big piece! but it is perfect for cardigans and other cozy items.

I purchased this yarn in Natural Beige. On receiving, I was a bit disappointed in the color - it was paler than was pictured - but decided to use it anyway. It knits up soft and pretty, but I don't know about the quality. Most annoying are the random knots where the yarn is rejoined mid-skein. I've tried 3 skeins so far and all have had issues. Right now I am halfway done with a sweater back and reached a knotted join, and it was tied randomly without regard for where in the ombre color the join should hit ( if that makes any sense). I was left with a very abrupt color change which did not fit the pattern of what I had already knit, so had to unwind a skein to find a correctly colored spot to rejoin. This is annoying and a waste of time and yarn. Be warned.

This yarn has a tendency to twist as your using it, at first I didn't like it then suddenly I realized it was making my pattern look beautiful. The way it twist into the pattern crinkles it a little and it is so pretty. I am doing the Alpine Stitch and it looks beautiful

I will start with the one positive thing I have to say. The colors are pretty.Now on to the bad. There were three things I found wrong with this yarn.1. The weight is completely UNEVEN! As you can see in the photo, it ranges from the small end of a #5 all the way down the about a #2, which is horrible for my stitches.2. There were tons of tufts of un-dyed, white fuzz stuck to the yarn in various places throughout the skein. These were hard to remove, as they stuck out from the center of the yarn.3. This yarn is absolutely impossible to frog. If you make a mistake, it’s far easier to just snip it and throw the thing away as the knotting in previous stitches (even loose ones!) is beyond frustrating and certainly not what I’d expect at this price point.

I really was excited about this yarn and I loved the color but there are SOOOOOOOO many knots in the skein and the color transitions are abrupt. My biggest issue though is the thickness says it's No. 4 medium (Worsted Weight) but this is closer to a No. 3 light (so I couldn't use it on the project I had planned on), BUT it gets even thinner in some places and then thicker than a No. 4 in others. I purchased 4 skeins and I am almost through the 3rd so it was not just a weird one. Last problem, it is very breakable, one hard tug can pull the yarn in half, I know its one-ply but I have not had that issue with other brands. Finally, the yarn is pretty shiny, I'm fine with that but not everyone is and it's hard to tell in photos. On the plus, side, I do agree with the other reviews that it is quite soft.
