I suppose it would work on a driveway as well!
I used it for a quite different purpose!I have some large plant pots sitting on fine gravel but the gravel dose not provide adequate drainage. I cut this to fit and sat the pots on two layers of this honeycomb recessed into the gravel. It looks as though the pots are still on the gravel but, in fact, they have a good drainage space underneath. Water drains freely so, this year, I hope (quite confident really) that my plant swill be healthier than in the waterlogged soil before. I considered bricks but how would I stop gravel travelling underneath? I considered a wood frame but it would rot. This seems an ideal solution.Of course, if anyone wanted I suppose that they could use it for the designed purpose?

Very useful
These mats are well made and have been invaluable. Initially I used these to create 'stepping stones' across a sodden lawn to access bird feeders - very successfully. Latterly, we experienced an infestation of rats in the garden, drawn by the seed dropped from aforesaid feeders. I have successfully repurposed the mats under the repositioned feeders to trap the falling seed - the ground feeding birds can access the fallen food - but the rats cannot. This has helped in a successful campaign to eradicate the rat problem.

Reinforcing Lawn
Taking my wheelie bins out involves coming off a concrete path and onto front lawn. Over the years this caused quite a dip in the lawn by the path. I bought these grids to reinforce that section of lawn. Removed the turf from the area, flattened off the soil, put the grids down, filled with soil and planted grass seed. A few weeks later and the grass has grown and the grids are invisible, but have given a very stable and strong support to that area of the lawn. Perfect.

Robust and good value for money
Bought these to place on a muddy slope in the garden. Easy to put down and very robust, they’ve solved the problem of the slippery slope and we’re treading less mud back into the house. Will seed grass around them in the spring but keep them down so we can still access the rest of the garden whilst the grass is growing

Good quality
Great product.Awful customer service!!I had an order "lost" in the post and took almost 4 weeks to have it re-sent out after I sent about 8 messages. Took a few days for the seller to reply to any of my messages.I'm happy with the mats but I'm very upset with the service.
