I originally ordered this set just to try out a gel set at home to avoid the complicated cost of going to a nail shop. I was more than pleased, so two years later(which is how long the last set lasted me), I've been ordering their sets every since. My husband also recently purchased me a bigger set for Christmas. I enjoy all the color combinations and plan to collect them all. Its easy to remove when I'm ready to change the colors or just start fresh. I've recently filled them and I love that they protect my nails and their growth . It takes me no time to do them since I've mastered them. It makes me feel pretty when my nails are done with such good quality product.

Alright, let me tell you—I was a salon loyalist for eight years. Every 4-6 weeks, without fail. But after getting laid off in August, I couldn’t justify the splurge. So I took the plunge into the world of DIY nails.I started with gel polish, but it chipped faster than my patience. So, I decided to try dip. I was going to keep it simple with just pink, but these old eyes saw a big difference between pink and white. Next time, translucent for the win! My nails were short and paper-thin (thanks, leftover dip) but not anymore!I did just two dips, carefully avoided my cuticles with the primer, and voilà—strong, shiny nails. A little buff, two top coats, and they'd be ready to wear solo, but I’m all about nail art! So, yes, that’s gel on top, and yes, that’s my first attempt at nail art. And YESSSS, I AM IN LOVE. I’ve already texted my friends—we’re having a nail day. I need more practice canvases!If you’re on the fence, hop off! This kit is fantastic and ridiculously easy to use. Just did these yesterday, so I’ll update if they don’t hold up for 20 days—but so far, total winner.Update .. Nov 29, 2024 today is 20 days and they are going strong! I put an updated picture. I was needed something that would protect my nails, they are thin and tear easily. Read the reviews and watched videos on how to do dip. Defiantly recommend watching videos for tips on what to do. The instructions were good but needed a little more explaining on how to make them look better. Do this in a well ventilated area and/or get an air purifier, the fumes were pretty strong. I used the pink and dipped 3 times and came out with a nice light pink. I ordered a set with a glitter but got white instead of a glitter. I think over time it will get easier to do, took about 30-45 mins. Didn’t think it looked terrible for my first time doing it.

Sooooooooo..... Very pleasantly surprised! I got a dip manicure a couple of weeks ago, and the nail technician just ruined my cuticles, which was made all the worse because I then had to pay wayyyyy to much for that service. Long story short, I vowed to start doing my own dip nails. I wanted something really inexpensive to try out, because, frankly, I don't like to drop cash on something I'm not 100% going to enjoy.Well, now my ass is gonna go broke, because this set was entirely too much fun. The quality is exactly what you're paying for. It looks gnaaaaaarly in the beginning, especially when you're just teaching yourself. But if you trust the process, and put, like, five coats of the powder on each nail, then they'll turn out great!The pictures I posted are from the second set I did with this kit. The first set was ratchet and messed up from the glitter. The glitter sucks. But, I'm pretty proud of these bad boys. I also used acrylic tips, so I'm blown away that the ridge from the site where the tip meets the nail doesn't show.I found that a really good, thick, coarse nail file and buffer were all the tools I needed and used. Oh, I also used a nail wrap on the ring finger. I put the wrap on the filed and buffed first three layers that were on the nail already, painted the basement coat over the wrap, and dipped it into translucent powder. I did two layers of the translucent for a total of five layers on each finger.I'm giving it five stars because it is definitely value for the price. And, omg, the dips are tiny and precious, and it's amazing how such a little amount will go with this stuff.

For context, I have been getting my nails done using dip for years, I'm not new to it and I've even dabbled with doing it myself at home during the pandemic. Needless to say, I'm not new to the dip system. When I first started using this kit, I did 4 layers and it seemed to work fine. Colors are good, and it was easy enough to put on. The only drawback at first was that it didn't last as long as the salon. When I went to take it off, it came off literally like glue. It takes FOREVER to take this stuff off your nail.When I put it on the next time, I did 3 layers... boy oh boy was that a mistake. nails chipped over and over again. One day I would get 3 chipped nails, I would fix the nails one night, and the next day I would get three more chipped nails and have to fix them again! It was very frustrating and NOT the reason I wanted to stop going to the salon! I ended up getting a Kiara Sky kit and am now adjusting to that consistency.tldr; I would ONLY order this kit if you are new to dipping and want to see if it's for you, or want to learn techniques before jumping to a better more expensive brand!

Takes some practice to get right. The dip powder doesn't smell great, but the finished product is very durable and professional looking and lasting. The colors are excellent

This kit brings what you need to make your nails more cute, I would have liked it more if it were large. But appeal everything I give you 5 star because its colors are cute and it has good pigmentation.
