"Derma Treatments Purifying Detox Facial Serum 30 ml" is almost unique for the brand in being specified for the face, formulated with aloe vera for its moisturising action and allantoin for is regenerative capabilities. Many of its ingredients are botanical, of which several are possibly unique to the brand. Several others are unusual, not least of which is 'snail secretion extract' whose inclusion may upset some user groups, not least vegans and those averse to the use of animal products within vanity products such as this. The secretion includes hyaluronic acid and other equally beneficial compounds often used in many beauty products although not necessarily similarly sourced. As with the snail secretion, Derma appear to be one a few minor brands to use hydrolyzed pearl in their products. Compared with other of Derma's products, this has no discernible fragrance.It is strangely unbelievable that Derma's website offers many of their products at prices of around £80 or more yet they are being offered by one seller at a fraction, under £10. Fans may wish to purchase an additional tube or two while the offer stands, probably as gifts as a single tube will last for months.The package labelling is sufficiently vague as to offer the purchaser no indication of its specific actions and benefits. Due to extensive use of identical ingredients, in principle, one Derma product could potentially substitute for several others. The inclusion of 'Detoxyl' is presumably proprietary and an 'active detoxification agent' used by the brand in several of its products.The Serum was passed to a family member for the purposes of testing. The tube is small, pre-pierced to aid accurate dispensing, easy to apply and quickly absorbed, just a 'pea-sized' portion being needed which is assumed to be an 8-10mm bead rather than a pea-sized heap although it is not further clarified on the packaging or product website. A decent set of usage instructions would be beneficial. While it did assist up to a point, once its user discovered the snail connection, and although not a vegan etc, she was totally deterred and vowed to cease using it.Possibly a considered purchase at almost £80, a less considered one when heavily discounted when it may then also be more freely used. The discount applies to a few current sellers and may be time-limited. Unsuitable for vegans or those opposed to using animal substances in such products.

Another good product from Derma.
This detox facial serum does actually work. My skin feels fresher, tighter and certainly smoother after using. I use this as a day serum and apply after toning. I cannot understand how it is being offered at a price of £9.95 and the recommended retail price is almost £80.00. Other retailers are charging around the same as the recommended price so I would snap this up.I am a fan of Derma products but they are expensive, normally. I would love it if they printed their information leaflets in larger print as it is almost impossible to read the print is so minute. This serum is a gel like cream and only a pea size amount is needed for the whole face. It is quick absorbing so it should be massaged into the face quickly. I do recommend at this price.

This is a small 30 ml tube of clear facial serum. The claim is that the listed ingredients, which include aloe vera plus other ingredients which I have not heard of before, will help detoxify moisturise and protect your facial skin. It is part of a range of skincare products from Derma "Botanical Active Skincare". My wife has been trialling it:You only need a pea sized blob of this serum to smooth over your face after your cleansing routine morning and night. It is quickly absorbed and leaves the skin feeling slightly sticky and a little tighter. No allergic reactions or redness so far, so I will carry on using up the tube then report back on the end results. It is supposed to help skin look fresher and less tired and dull, and if it works that will be a real bonus in the winter. Only time will tell! Amazon currently have this on offer for £9.99 with the supposed full retail price being £79!! So if you want to try it, now is the time.
