Electric brake system
Is it to install and works as expected

Works great.
Ease of installation depends on what you’re putting in on. I’d recommend getting the wiring harness that connects this to vehicle junction box. This is more than worth the money because it eases the installation significantly. On my GMC,it fit perfectly in the cubby hole where the factory brake control would have been. Just drill an opening in the back of the plastic insert.T

I think it works
I've never used a brake controller before, so I think it works well. Slowing down from highway speed feels good, but low speed it feels like the camper is stopping the truck, almost like barely hitting the brake pedal, makes the trailer brake go full stop, I have adjusted the gain, and the sync, and can't tell a difference. Anyway, it works I towed a camper a few hundred miles, and camped at 3 different places safely

True plug and play for 2018 Chevy Silverado
I bought this at the last minute after doing months of research and am happy with my purchase. I was placed in charge of moving the church double axel trailer that had a breaking system on it. The trailer was pretty heavy especially with all of the musical equipment on it along with other "stuff." After doing some research I ended up on this one and can't say that I have been happier on something that I have added to the truck. My previous SUV came with one already built in so I was a little familiar with how it works. When I first loaded the trailer up to the truck yes it does take a few minutes to adjust the system to break like I wanted but once that was set it was smooth sailing. Was able to pull the trailer with ease and confidence.

So much better
Replaced a 30 year old controller in 93 F350. Much finer adjustments. Smooth stops.
