Bartoline Teak Oil 2 Litre

This is an excellent product. As you can see from the photo, the water-repelling effect is very impressive. I've used Bartoline Teak Oil before and have always been pleased with the results. One application easily lasts a full season for me, and I generally just do a single top-up coat at the start of the year to maintain the water repellant properties. Some reviews describe it as being too thin, but I disagree. Its consistency makes it easy to apply with a brush, and it flows nicely into tight spaces, joints, and small cracks that thicker products might miss. It's also good value for money, and at 2 litres you get plenty of coverage for larger jobs or multiple applications. It does darken the wood slightly, but in my opinion this enhances the appearance by bringing out the grain and giving a richer finish. The only thing to be aware of is that it can drip if applied too generously, so it's worth laying down some protection underneath while working. Overall, a great product that does exactly what it's supposed to do.

Good quality does the job furniture or outdoor use

This provided the best value I could find on Amazon. Had previously used a smaller pot from the same manufacturer. It works well. I use it on my garden furniture every year. Photo showing one with this years coat done a few months ago (darker) and one without this years coat done yet.

Awesome, but word of caution, the decking just drank it like it was thirty in a desert, so grab a much larger bottle than you think you will need, does what it says on the tine and extremely great value for money, I bought some more as 23 litres wasnt enough and im going to get some more for backup too, great stuff, looks great, and its not sticky, it does smell though, its been 24 hours and I can still smell it when I go outside, so keep that in mind, id be very wary about pets, I don’t have any but id keep that in mind, and I dared not wash the decking yet for fear of it running off into the garden although I did get it wet a few minutes after and the water just flew off it, you could see it was already stopping and fluid getting in.
