My youngest son needs the stool for the sink and my oldest is constantly using it while he is on the toilet. I have heard the benefits of using squatty potties and have found it help a lot- especially if you ever suffer from constipation. Two things I like about this one1. Appearance: its not some ugly plastic but a nice bamboo wood that matches the decor of our home and does not look unsightly. Also has zig zag groves for tred and has rubber sticker bottom so it doesn’t slide or scrape floor.2. Takes up limited space and doesn’t need to be moved. Because of the scoop in this sits right against the toilet and doesn’t even need to be moved when you are not using. You can also pull out further or fold and place along the wall. Because of this it will work even in small bathrooms.

I've been so undecided about these for such a long time. I thought if you leaned forward itd just do the same as what the stool does for you. I had many people tell me that the stool really is better and does help. So I figured, why not try it! This comes with sticky pads for on the bottom to keep it from sliding on the floor or scratching the floor. After trying this out, yep, this is NOTHING at all like leaning forward. This helps so much and has really changed my mind on these. Now I try to talk others into getting these too. This made a believer out of me. It's not something I can keep out due to my dog as I shared a video of her instant reaction to having it there, lol. Np, it folds up quickly and I just set ut beside the toilet against the wall. It's made from good strong wood and it even has some tightness when I open the legs to make it a stand, that's good, this way it wont just close on it's own even as I pick it up.

The wood part of item sturdy and functional for its purpose/s. Is it because I purchased this item at a discount? The one complaint: when I press on the screw cap to fold the leg, it does not have a strong counter pressure as the other; it’s as if the spring had been used frequently, or it’s an original defect in the spring. Therefore, one of the legs may be less sturdy/secure in the near future. I will avoid using the hinges to fold legs, which defeats the purpose of storing the item when not using it.

I decided to purchase following surgery where medications slowed by digestive system. It really does help the elimination process. It arrived quickly. It is quite sturdy & compact and can fold up easily.

Honestly, I would prefer this stool over the name brand plastic one. It’s very well made, sturdy, and has great craftsmanship. I’m also very big on sustainability so this being biodegradable was a big must have. No complaints so far and I’ve had it for over a month! Super comfortable!
