Danner 12741 Supreme Mag Drive Impeller Cover

Perfect fit!

Fit perfectly to the old pump and came with a new gasket. Most difficult part of the repair was to removed (unscrew) the pump from the line. Once that was done, cleaned out the pump and installed the new impeller cover and installed the pump back.

Easy replacement for the only part of the pump to wear out.Make sure of the model #.

Fit like it should

I've had my danner supreme mag drive 18 pump for 20 years this is first time I've had to replace any parts on it. The seal was leaking it was time to replace it and I had a crack in the housing after dropping the pump. A new impeller housing and seal and the pump works perfectly again.

My original one broke off when I was cleaning the pond. My fault... I dropped the pump. This replace replacement fit the model 12 B perfectly. I have a lot more water flowing now, probably due to the flap valve in the cover being new. (an added benefit).The only issue is that the original cover had a slip-on sponge-like filter cover going over the outside of the exhaust, and this is thicker so it doesn't go on as easy. Not really much of a problem. If it comes off, I'll glue it to this new cover. (the sponge like filter slips on over this).

The output pipe broke off while mixing water for the salt tank. I thought it was headed to the trash bin. I thought I would search the web for maybe a part, and sure enough this showed up. Now my pump is functional again.

AFTER CAREFUL INSPECTION I NOTED THAT THE IMPELLER MAGNET NEAR THE PROPELLER WORE OUT AND CAUSED THE IMPELLER TO START VIBRATING. VIBRATIONS CAUSED FRICTION THAT WORE A HOLE IN THE IMPELLER COVER. SO THE CENTER OF THE IMPELLER COVER APPEARS TO BE CHEWED UP, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND ORDER A NEW IMPELLER AND SAVE MONEY.

It fits perfectly and arrived ahead of the delivery date. Can it get any better then that?

I have 900, 1200, 1800, and 2400 all work great and are quite. The 1800 is 12 years old.
