This is Great for My Tortoise House During the Fall & Winter
I got this for my tortoise house. When the temperature is below 60, it's important to have the heater. It has given me peace of mind. It works great and keeps her happy during the fall and winter.

Mala calidad

Imperfect but functional small heater
Doesn’t respond every time to reset and can be a bit frustrating.Currently set at 78* in 45* temps. Only reaching 62* overall.Adequate but not great.

Patience.
This is a good heater for an animal enclosure. I guess you could call it a forced air heater, because the hot air does move, although not a lot of it and not quickly. Actually, that's good, because you need to be careful around animals. Always think of the ways they might hurt themselves with a heater. I hate it when people call them "dumb" animals because they are probably smarter than we are in most ways, but they are clueless about human technology (if it's warm, cuddle up to it, right? See how smart?) This one is safe for your pet, but be prepared for it to take a while to warm up a large area. Before I got this heater, I used oil-filled radiant (radiator-type) heaters in my dog building, which is about 8x10 feet with seven foot ceilings. They didn't work great if we had a stiff wind blowing of course, despite it being in a mostly enclosed building. But they had the advantage of being able to be run from an extension cord and power strip, and my dog building was not wired for outlets. Now that it is wired, I think this heater, used in conjunction with a couple of my radiator-type heaters will really kick up the warmth factor. And with a temperature-control feature, you can't beat the price.

60days old and fan went out
I bought 2 of these. My dogs have IBC totes for houses located in kennels in a barn so zero wind. We put 1 in each house 2 dogs in each house. The heaters temperature is set at 70° however the thermometer inside the house (hung 5" down from the center of the top of the box) says its actually 45°. It's does turn on once the temperature drops 3° below the set temperature. It does maintain 45° for the most part. Just wish there was a way to calibrate the thermometer so it wouldn't be so far off.One of the fans has started making a horrible noise like its going out. They aren't even 60days old yet.Easy to install. Pain in the butt to keep the filter clean you have to remove the heater and unwire the plugs cord to clean the filter.Does seem to help keep the dogs warm. Is safe to use with straw.

Doesnt work at all.
It blows warmth but not near enough to warm it up inside the dog house enough to leave the dog outside. Ive had to keeo the dog inside all week because the lack of this expensive product i have bought. Going to tractor supply tomorrow to get a real heater

Great heater
I got this for an outdoor greenhouse and I'm loving it so far. It's still a little chilly for my plants at night so I can set this to my desired temperature and let it go. Blows lightly...a slow burn which is good for enclosed area....also protected cording for outdoors as well! I'm loving the size and everything else about it so far. Light enough to place one top wire shelves of greenhouse!

Very happy with it
I wasn't sure how it would work, I build a two level house for my outdoor cats and wanted to heat it... usually I would give each cat a heating pad but it's hard to regulate the temperature with them... I placed the heater in the bottom level which is open to the top as hot air rises... it stays cooler on the bottom floor but that works as one cat likes it warmer than the other... I can tell with a quick glance what the temp is and it's not heating continuously if it's not needed...I will be interested to see how well it does this winter when we hit -30.
