I recently got a under desk bike at work and I kept rolling backwards because my chair didn’t have breaks. I got these because they had the breaks ; eventually I wanted to up grade to these from the hard plastic anyway. But the brakes work so well I have the breaks on for all the wheels but the front two and my chair doesn’t budge now I can peddle all day

it's so much better than the factory wheels, but one thing that doesn't make it a 5-star is that the locking mechanism is too stiff and would snap on your fingers or your toes. but regardless the product is a must-have.

Great product, the wheels are very solid. It sits a little higher (about 1 inch) than my normal wheels, but that is expected. The wheels move easily, they pivots smoothly, and they roll so quietly. The brakes are great, no issues with them breaking. They are a bit difficult to push down/up in bare feet, but that is better than them coming loose too quickly and easily.

Brake spring broke immediately, it is very thin and looks too brittle. The brake lever is plastic and not very substantial. Caster body otherwise seems sturdy. Swivel bearings are a little rough but move well enough.Update: contacted the seller and had a new set the next day. Installed and working as advertised. I've locked others with no problem, it seems I just got unlucky with a manufacturing defect. Seller's service was excellent.

Easy to install, size is not too big. Made my Razor chair quiet when rolling around. Brakes does what it’s supposed to. Excellent quality!

These were easy to put on my office chair - it was harder to take the old ones off.These roll around real smooth, and the brakes are really solid. So solid that they might take your finger off if you aren't careful! The mechanism is real springy and a bit load. For my purposes this is perfect, but I almost feel like I have to respect these like they were a loaded gun. They can snap back with such a force that I only describe as mouse trap-likeIf you want dangerously sturdy caster breaks, these will do it.

Well constructed product but my new chair doesn’t scoot away from me, therefore not needed.

These have worked well for me. They seem very smooth rolling on the ground, and when the brakes are applied they stick in place. I use my feet to apply and remove the brakes, so my fingers are not in danger. I primary used these so my chair would not slide while pressing sim pedals/rudders, and I am pleased with the results.
