Now our Go-To Knife
I had just bought a long, rigid, serious knife for slicing brisket, but found it wasn't flexible or small enough to trim the brisket. It also didn't do that well on skinning a salmon. I found this knife did really well at both of those tasks. Since I purchased the knife eight months ago, my wife and I are grabbing it for lots of cutting - slicing veggies, trimming chicken breasts, trimming roasts, etc. It's kept its edge and held up well. I do hand wash and dry it, though. Now, I'm going to buy one for each of my three, married boys for Father's Day. On sale for under $20, it's a fantastic bargain!

High end of good
It's very thin. A little too thin? The BPX chef knife and boning knife are my two favorites in my collection. To call them a value would be an insult. They're exquisite. This one is very good but not my favorite. The Genesis series filet knife is superior.

Very sharp, does what it needs to.
Was looking for a knife to trim fat and silverskin from medium to large cuts for BBQ. Not sure if this is ideal, but I like a stiff blade and not a flexible one, and among somewhat inexpensive filleting or skinning knives this had good reviews. This is a legit very sharp blade and while longer than I'd ideally want it does the job nicely cleaning up a tri-tip or brisket.

Captain's Choice
Great knive! Sharp edge and great handle. Hard to tell difference or any less quality than Victorinox. Very happy, but only time will tell if the edge holds up to cleaning lot of fish.

Nice Sharp Knife
This is a great knife as it's very sharp, and very thin. The key to a great fillet knife is being super thin and bendy, but also razer sharp and stable. I find that it sharpens easily and holds an edge well enough.
