LOUD!
I have no idea why others are saying they’re not loud. My guess is they’re putting the adhesive on the circle which is a speaker. The adhesive needs to be on the plain side. These are very good. A fun prank. Loud enough. Very loud. A number of beeps too.I do wish they offered 1 beep which is very fast. But these are good enough. Worth the money.

Great Office Prank
Purchased this to prank a coworker. Put one in his desk phone and one on the under side of his desk. Well worth the laughs you get. Different sound choices allows you to mix it up. We likes the cricket sound as it was the loudest.

Drives my co-workers crazy!
I bought these and placed one in my co-worker's office. It says that the battery will last for 3 years, but that's not the case, it died after a little over a week. They are seriously small and can be hidden in just about any location you want. I used a bit of blu-tac to stick them up under a a desk. They are small enough to hide just about anywhere. A couple of recommendations are under the printer, inside the case of a computer, stuck under the top drawer of a desk, under the bottom of the coffee machine, or behind the soda machine at work. The beep is loud enough to be heard and echoes everywhere. However, it was so much fun to watch them try to locate the beeping for over a week.. checking the smoke alarms, various other places throughout the office. The beep was driving them crazy! I laughed my head off! Definitely worth the price for a good office prank! Highly recommend.

Replace the batteries they come with.
Pretty good product overall, the initial batteries died after a week of use. The cricket chirp sounds more like a high pitch electrical tone in the pattern of a cricket sound...so not great. But the other sounds are awesome, though the volume can too loud depending on where you put it. Overall these things need a little fine tuning still, but decent gag on the office enemy haha. Stuck one behind a desk drawer that doesn't come out all the way, he still can't find it and been 3 weeks. This was the second attempt cause the first one died after a week. I went to check on it while the guy was on vacation and sure enough it had a dead battery.

Description is a lie, claimed sounds dont exist.
Set this up for the cricket sounds it should do but instead all it does is 3 pathetic beep sounds of varying loudness. Complete waste of time and money and my prank idea is now dead in the water. Save your money and buy something different. This is nothing more than a weak whistle sound.

Not a prank but a joke
If you planning to prank someone with this, make sure you order a lot of them because they go off exactly each 30-60 minutes apart !I actividad all 3 of them and while you can choose the loudness of the tone, the interval is between 30 minutes and 1 hour !!!I tested them for 2 days now and I hardly notice them because the delay is sooo long apart.I also swapped one battery with a brand new one to see if there's any difference but nothing...I discovered that this pcb uses an ATTINY85 micro processor to generate the pitch sound and delay and that the pcb has 3 contact pins.I'll try to see if I can get them reprogrammed to reduce the delay with arduino. You can also desolder the piezo because underneath is the ATTINY85 chip, with a test clamp you can connect straight to the chip and reprogram the chip without desoldering the chip.

Perfect, amazing, hilarious
I work at a nursing home and have become friendly with our maintenance guys over the years. On March 31st I stuck one of these bad boys on the back of the microwave in the maintenance office and went home for the weekend. I heard from a co-worker that they were basically tearing the office apart looking for the source of the noise. The best part is that it only makes noise once every 15 minutes or so, which makes it much harder to find. My April Fools day prank worked perfectly! They never did find it so I snuck back in there Monday to retrieve it. The battery is still going strong so I might do it again next weekend! Lol
