Two stems is large enough for decor needs. I believe this isn't cotton stems picked from the field. I don't feel the seeds. These seem to be made from store bought cotton balls placed into man made stems. Still pretty.

These cotton bolls look good and were less expensive than many of the others. I think if you’re planning to just have cotton stems in a pitcher or mason jar you would be better off with individual stems. Although these fluffed up nicely and can be bent around a bit they still look like a bunch of cotton bolls on one stem. I plan on using them in an arrangement and will be taking apart some of the stems so they are fine for my planned project.
