Lucas Oil 10872 Diesel Deep Clean - 16 Ounce

Made an improvement in throttle response to a 2016 Range Rover td6. I’m using it about every 4th fill up. Worth the money for the improved performance.

I said to give it a try , which was worth it ! I put the whole bottle in tank for Escalade diesel 2024 , driving the car on HWY , you can feeling the difference instantly ! Highly recommend this product ! He made a very deep clean !

In have a 2016 Nissan XD with the 5.0 diesel with a 27-gallon fuel tank. One Sunday about a year ago I went to my local Pilot station and filled up with diesel, on my way home my truck went into limp mode and shortly after showed a "DPF Filter Full" fault. I was able to limp it home and got on the internet to search for a fix and several people said to use this product. I needed the truck for work Monday, so I got a 16 oz bottle (treats 30 gallons) from my local auto parts store. I poured it in the fuel tank and went for a drive within 10 minutes the limp mode disengaged and within 30 minutes the "DPF Filter Full" went out and the truck has run great ever since!When I bought the truck in 2019 it had 28,000 miles on it and I could get 19.5 MPG on a trip to visit my dad since then the MPG for the same trip had gotten down to 17.8 MPG (the month the incident). I have been told by several diesel mechanics that this is normal with the DPF filter exhaust system that they start clogging up and the MPG starts going down and the only way to fix it is to replace the filter ($$$) or take it off the truck and clean it ($$). I am now buying this in the 64oz size since it is now over $20 for the 16oz and I am putting16oz in at every 4th fill up. Since I have been using this my MPG for that same trip is now 20.2MPG and the only thing I have done differently is added the LUCAS Deep Clean Diesel! Not only that but the truck feels more powerful and runs smoother.

This is the absolute best stuff to clean out the DPF system. I go from about 250miles between regens to about 400ish miles which is about what I got when my 2022 Silverado 3.0L Duramax got when brand new. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!!!!

Too expensive, not even sure if it does what it’s claiming to do for your filters

I went to the Lucas Oil website and read the description of the product and what it was suppose to do. I have used other Lucas products before and I have always been happy with the results. So, I decided to give this a try.The website indicates that it is to help clean soot and particulates out of the engine. It also states that it helps to reduce deposits in the Diesel Particulate Filter. I have a 2006 Jetta TDI and it is old enough that it does not have a particulate filter. But, it does occasionally blow out black smoke under heavy acceleration.I put this into the tank at fill-up. I noticed that the engine ran smoother, but did not think about it any more. Until, one day, I had to accelerate hard getting away from a stop light. And, to my amazement, there was no cloud of black smoke coming out of my exhaust.The VW TDI diesel is an awesome engine. I normally get 40 mpg with regular diesel fuel. After using this product, I now get 46 mpg. The website recommends that it be used in the fuel each time that you change the oil. But I use it at each fill up, and I continue to get excellent fuel mileage and smoke free exhaust.

If you have an engine light from a diesel particulate filter clog, this treatment may work after a couple of tanks. However, I needed a new sensor and this treatment won't fix that. Do yourself a favor, get the sensor fixed soon or you may find the truck won't go above 50 MPH, which is the EPA's way of forcing manufacturers to keep the emissions working properly. I was stuck in Pigeon Forge, TN with a reduced speed and spent over $1K to get the sensor replaced. To say the least, the Ford dealer in Sevierville took me for a ride on the labor charges.

this caused engine light in Ram 3500 .2020 with 6.7 cummins both times i tried to use it. caused hard start in kubota 70 hp diesel until burnt fuel off twice. I don't really know if it helped clean the DPF any more than the fuel Service i use normally but i wont buy it again due to the issues it caused. side note: engine light resolved after next tank of “clean” diesel run the rough Cummins as did hard start issue with Kubota tractor. I’ll use the rest for fire starter i guess. Turkey dissapointed as i am a dyed in the wool Lucas guy…
